Shine like a Diamond... not likely! (L'Oréal Elnette Hairspray)

Advantages: no smell

Disadvantages: hair looks dull, hard and feels tacky

Elnett Satin is made by Loreal Paris. One of their varieties states that it has Diamond Hold and Shine, obvioulsy stating that using the hairspray gives your hair hold and shine like a diamond... this is not true. The harispray holds like any other hairspray. The problem is that it makes your hair dull. Now if you were using this just for backcombing the underneath of your roots then i would say it works great, however if used over to top of a bun for example, sure it holds, but your hair looks like it needs a wash or condition; not the look really to be going for to be honest. It also sayd it disappears "in the stroke of a brush"; also not true. If its in your hair there is no way you can brush it out and go back to how your hair was before - to make minor alterations then fine, you could just brush and re-pin up, but to change your hair completely? nope, it just doesnt work and you'd need to wash again. And as for the final claim "soft touch"... hmmm guess whats coming? - with even the lightest spray your hair feels tacky and as linked in with the dull bits above it doesnt feel soft. The good? Lack of a strong smell and that its good for a solid backcomb on hair under the main hair which will be shown. Thats it, i would not recommend this product.
