When I decided to go from brunette to blonde I knew my hair was going to take a battering. It wasn't the first time I had made this drastic change from being brunette but I am no stranger to the fact that my hair was going to need help and a lot of it. As soon as I had starting making the transition I made it a lunchtime mission to pop out to my local Boots and pick up a variety of hair products all of which would help look after and protect my newly blonde but a bit fragile hair. One item I wanted was a hair mask, something that could be left on for a few minutes to really penetrate to the root and in general not only look after the colour but also to look ... I have naturally fair hair but I have been dying it for many years and it is not blonde. I have been lots of different colours over the years but always gone back to being blonde because this colour suits me much better than being a darker colour or so I am told by my family and friends. I always like to use a hair conditioner on my hair but at least twice a week I like to give it a deeper condition so that it is more healthy and looks a better look. I bought this conditioner for around £2.60 for 300ml on special offer a few weeks ago from Tesco, it is usually priced at around £4 and so I saved quite a lot of money. I have bought this one quite a few times ... Read the complete review

I like to try and get my Hair to look nice. On more that 1 occassion I have been told that I have nice looking hair, but I am a bit lazy in regards to using products on it. Life can just be so busy thesedays so to allow an hour to run a bath, laze in it (I always seem to laze for about 45 minutes) and apply a face mask and perhaps Hair Mask seems like a luxury that I cannot fit in, but sometimes I do squeeze the time in and that's why I have a tub of this to review now. This comes in a 300ml tub and I picked this up for a not bad price in Bodycare. I see from reading another review of this then this can sell for around £4. I got this for £2.49 and I like a ... For those of you who are familiar with my reviews you will be aware that for at least an hour every Sunday I will grab some "me time". It is during these sixty minutes that my husband has finally learned not to disturb me whilst I enjoy pampering myself with various beauty products. My sessions normally consist of a face mask and/or a manicure and a task that I carry out every Sunday without fail is a deep conditioning treatment of my hair. Whilst I generally tend to use Soap and Glory's Hair Supply I felt that I needed a change. Consequently, back in November of last year I made a purchase of L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protecting Masque and this review ... Read the complete review

Anyone who colours their hair regularly will know that after a few colours, although the colour of your hair will look better, the condition of your hair will deteriorate. I have noticed that the condition of my hair has worsened, particularly at the ends where they have become quite dry and split, but the natural colour of my hair is not nice and I can't really get away without colouring it now. I was recommended by my hairdresser to use conditioner on a daily basis and use a hair masque once a week to dry and re-condition the ends. When scouring through Superdrug, the range that seemed to offer the best value for money was the L'oreal range. There is around ... Read the complete review
