I colour my hair but I absolutely hate doing it as it's so time consuming and messy. It is because I hate the whole process that last time I dyed my hair around a month ago, I decided to purchase some products to protect the colour and hopefully prolong it, meaning I could go longer between each colouring. Having decided I need to make some cutbacks on my spending, I looked for the cheapest product possible, and that was the L'Oreal Elvive colour protect range which was on special offer at the time. I decided on the colour protecting masque as I always use an intensive treatment on my hair once a week to keep it in good condition, and knew this product would ... Read the complete review

I have been ruining my hair by dying it a strong purple colour and then washing, blow drying and straightening it every day with my GHD's... So recently I have been trying to breathe new life into it and add back some of the goodness and moisture I have stripped from the strands. One of the products I am not to touch in the bathroom is this 'L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Protecting Masque' - so it must be good, lol! Sold in a bright red circular pot with 200ml in it, I have seen this for sale for around £4 although they are often on offer with a third off in Boots. Once opened the contents can be used for up to a year so that's ... Read the complete review

Now it has to be said I am a big fan of all things from the 'L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect' range and this little glossy red potted version of a top quality hair moisturiser is no exception, thus I was quite surprised to see this particular version of their huge range of goods had only been reviewed on Dooyoo once before. Marketed as a 'Protecting Masque' for highlighted/colour tresses, this hair care product is the Paris-based company's first 'Light Reflecting System' to do exactly what it says on that sassy recyclable red pot - it 'intensively nourishes, protects the hair and prolongs colour radiance'. Containing a UV filter to protect hair from ... Read the complete review

There are so many good things about this product I don't know where to start! My hair is normally quite curly and gets dry if I use too much heat so I'm constantly looking for a miracle intensive conditioner to rescue my tortured locks. I also regularly colour my hair as I had a hair disaster a few years ago when a hairdresser dyed it a horrible dirty blonde when I asked for highlights. Ever since then my hair has never been the same lovely, rich brown without the help of semi-permanents, so being able to combine an intensive conditioner with colour protection is fantastic. To use the masque I usually shampoo my hair as directed, rub the product into the ends ... Read the complete review

Ok so I know I said in my 'Wella Sp Professional Conditioning Mask' review that I wouldn't bother with other deep conditioning treatments again, but I gave in, I couldn't resist! I love beauty products and especially haircare products, plus it was 3 for 2 in boots, so whats a girl to do?! I have to admit I was unsure about this product at first. I loved the screw lidded pot, nice and water tight, and the fact it claims to have UV filters, but I am not the biggest fan of L'oreal Elvive, it just never seems to do anything for my hair. However, I used this product with an open mind and now I love it! The first time I used it, I have to say, I didnt ... Read the complete review
