Advantages: Claims to give softer, shinier, stronger hair and a pleasant scent.

Disadvantages: My hair really didn't notice the difference

The Fully Restore shampoo and conditioner seems to have very mixed reviews from users. I bought the matching shampoo and conditioner a couple of months ago as they were on special offer from our local Lidl. Designed for week and damaged hair, they worked out about 1.50pounds a bottle which is about half price for the 250ml conditioner, too good a deal to miss! Ihave given them a fair test and have to say I am quite unexcited about them and having recently reviewed the shampoo it is now the turn of the conditioner.
The bottle is quite smart looking, basically white plastic with a deep burgundy trim and gold detailing around the snazzy looking design on the front which looks a bit like a science diagram! The smooth cream conditioner claims to do quite a lot giving hair strength, density, vitality, shine and silkiness. It manages to do this by repairing your hair using pro-ceramide and keratin which are natural constituents of your hair. The keratin re-builds and the ceramide smooths. My hair is particularly rough, even my dog has smoother hair than I do so I was interested to see if it had any effect.

A Bit of Restoration.

Having washed my hair using the matching shampoo I unflip the top of the bottle and pour about a 50p blob of the thick white conditioner into my palm. It really is quite thick so no danger of getting too much. The bottle can be stood on its head to get at all the contents but does flow out without problem. It has a nice clean smell to it, just a little bit fruity and smooths over the hair well. I try and leave conditioner on for at least a couple of minutes and then wash out. It does not leave any reidue in the hair and I have noticed that this is stated on the larger bottle but not on my 250ml size.

Restored to Glory?

My hair didn't seem to notice that it had been restored, it was quite soft but I could not say that it was noticeably shinier or stronger. The pleasant perfume was still there the next day but it does not give you the wow factor of a really lovely smell that some other conditioners give you.

My Opinion.

It's OK but if I had paid full price for it I would have been disappointed and I do not think I shall buy it again even on special offer. It does claim to do a lot and for me didn't really deliver.

3 stars from me.

Produced by L'Oreal Paris it has a 12month life after opening and the bottle is recyclable.

Readily available in supemarkets ans chemists.
