Ah, yes. The 'Cheryl Cole Shampoo' as my best friend and I like to call it. Surely, if it's backed by Cheryl Cole, then it must be the holy grail of shampoos. Now I know that there's more chance of an alpaca knocking on my door than there is that a shampoo alone gives me hair like Cheryl's but I just had to try it. So I succumbed to the Cheryl Cole effect and bought this shampoo and its corresponding conditioner.

First things first, the bottle. The bottle is like all other elvive bottles in shape and design and in this case is white and red. Fairly boring looking bottle.

Okay so time to step into the shower. First thing that hit me when I dispensed some into my hand was the smell. Yum. It's not a scent you can get tired of because it's not really fruity or flowery or anything. It's more like the sort of scent of salon shampoos. That smell you can never quite put your finger on. But it's nice. Secondly, the ease with which the product rinses out is great. It leaves your hair clean and free from shampoo. Not having product buildup in your hair is important if you want volumous hair like Cheryl's so I was quite happy with this fact.

And now for the important part. The aftermath of using this shampoo. I can happily report that after using this shampoo for a couple of weeks, my hair did look glossier and softer. So it definitely had a positive effect and other people started to notice and ask me which shampoo I used.

All in all, it is a shampoo I would recommend to anyone who wants healthier looking hair with that certain little 'zing' to it.
