L'Oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Conditioner Reviews

Newest Review: ... this conditioner is usually priced at £3.89 which is considerably cheaper than "salon branded" conditioners which are nearer £6 per bottle but it is not the cheapest conditioner on the market. However this conditioner is regularly part of money off or multi-buy deals. When I purchased this conditioner at Asda this was on a multi-buy offer and I got this conditioner and matching shampoo for £4 which is excellent value for money. ***Application*** The conditioner comes in a shimmery golden yellow bottle which actually stands on the lid as its base. Although a block colour bottle you can see through the bottle slightly so you c... more

I purchased this recently when my usual L'oreal shampoo & conditioner for coloured hair was out of stock. It was also on offer so I thought it would be a good buy. My hair was in good condition before I used it.On first use the conditioner looked good quality and quite thick and I didnt really notice much. After a few uses, however, I had trouble combing my hair through. It left it very tangled and like I hadnt used a conditioner at all. I persevered and used it for a couple more weeks and ultimately had to buy an expensive conditioning treatment (NOT L'OREAL!) because this product had left my hair with consistency like straw.Dont bother buying this, it doesnt even condition in the slightest.

After numerous trips to the hairdressers to have my mid coloured brunette hair highlighted I suddenly realised my hair was no longer considered "brunette". The colouring technique over the last few months; a mixture of light and dark blonde highlights all through my hair had left me with what would be considered dark blonde. I have not had blonde hair for over 4 years previously and as a result most of my hair products are tailored towards brunette or red hair. So in the search for new hair products I was looking for shampoos and conditioners aimed at colour treated blonde hair. Not wanting to break the bank I decided to look at high street brands and came ... Read the complete review

==L'Oreal Nourish and Shimmer Highlights Conditioner== Who can resist a buy one get one free offer? Especially when it is for a product that you know is a good one. Well this L'Oreal Nourish and Shimmer Highlights Conditioner was on that very offer not so long ago in Boots and I do believe it is back on now! More often than not I don't need to buy as much conditioner as I do shampoo and I still have some of this very condition left from my last purchase although the shampoo ran out a little while ago. I think I may well be taking a trip to Boots to get two of the shampoos. However this conditioner does work really well and aids the brightness of ... Read the complete review

I have used L'Oreal shampoo and conditioners for many years (L'Oreal Elvive colour protect) as I had bright red hair. When I ditched the red hair and changed to highlights, I did the same with the conditioner. Decided to buy L'Oreal Elvive Nourish & Shimmer Highlights Conditioner and thought nothing much of it. That is until I have tried it. It smells lovely and it is quite creamy, so very easy to apply. Unfortunately that is it as far as it goes on the good side as I could not comb my hair through at all. I do have long and quite thick hair but having used L'Oreal Elvive colour protect for so long, I could not understand the vast difference between the two in the ... Read the complete review

I have had my hair highlighted for some years now in the belief that it helps to conceal the fact that my hair is becoming, ever increasing grey. Constant colouring and blow drying / straightening means that the hair is being regularly stripped of its natural oils and without a conditioner would look and feel very dry. Blow drying the hair with the airflow following the growth of the hair from root to tip helps flatten the scales of the hairs and give a smoother look but extra help in the form of a good conditioner is essential for me. I am always scanning the supermarket shelves for something a little different and when I saw Elvive Nourish and ... Read the complete review
