Advantages: Lots

Disadvantages: None

I've always been a huge L'Oreal fan, but as biased as I am - this really is the best shampoo/conditioner system you can buy.

Forget those expencive, fancy 'designer' bottles of shampoo that cost £10+ all you need is a £2.50 bottle of L'Oreal Elvive Anti Breakage shampoo & conditioner. (£2.50 each.)

Apparently, they tell us they have prooven results of 'Up to 60% less breakage from brushing' So did they keep their guarantee's?

...Well, I think they did! Okay, picture this! Before using this shampoo, I was using anything which was on offer! Whatever was the cheapest - I'd have it, you see my hair was below my elbows so I went through a lot of shampoo, I just didn't see the point in spending a fortune, still don't really, but I thought I'd treat myself to some Elvive, it was buy one get one free in Tesco's, they were the larger bottles of 300ml.

My hair was very long, but, very brittle. (Due to years of abuse - I dyed it every colour, used every styling apliance, yes I was very cruel lol!) It was snapping all over the place, the ends were dry and split, really yukky! The worst thing was, I took my daughter to the GP when she was ill, and there was one of my hairs in her t shirt!! I was embarsed, and also sick of hoovering hairs, so this was the last chance - if this didn't work it was the chop!

After using it once, I immediately noticed the difference. My hair was sooo soft, and silky I couldn't stop touching my hair!! Arrggghhhh!!! I was getting obsessed with my hair lol! It smelled heavenly, and gradually over use, stopped breaking as much :o) It was like bodybuilding for my hair lol! It was getting stronger every time I washed my hair.

I was so happy....until...my daughter was brushing my new beautiful hair...when she got the brush stuck! Eeeeek!! We tried for hours to get it out, unfortunately, it was stuck, and my next stop was the hairdressers,
and my hair is now sholderlenght, I cried!

But! This shampoo DOES work - it's still silky smooth, and strong. even if a little shorter ;o)

okay, enough of my ramblings, here's what L'Oreal say on the bottle:-

'An innovation from L'Oreal haircare reasearch, L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-ceramide Conditioner & shampoo's repair right to the tips. It offers atargeted and effective souce of nourishing care for the hair, as well as part of an anti-breakage programme prooven under the utmost conditions of blow drying'.

'Prooven results - Nurished and repaired right to the tips, your hair is shiny easy to manage and strong. To complete the Anti-breakage programme for dry or brittle hair, use one of the L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Ceramide intensive conditioners. The proof - up to 60% less breakage from brushing'.

The shampoo and conditioner are both thick in texture, good quality, you don't need too much conditioner, or you hair will be very greasy! They come in orangy yellow bottles, with gold writing, you can buy they seperately, or a 2 in one option. It smells great, it reminds me of the hair-dressers shop smell! It's also gentle, I have severe excema at times, and this has not bothered me a bit!

My oppinion? Go try it - your worth it!! lol (Sorry - bad joke!)

I got a free sample of this and it was okay but I wouldn't rave about it.
