L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss shampoo is one which I must confess I probably never would have bought. The reasons being that I had previously tried a L'Oreal shampoo and didn't like it at all, as it left my hair feeling dry and also I hate the colour pink, which is not really a valid reason I suppose, but it doesn't look attractive to me personally and therefore when amongst all the other shampoos on the shelves, it fails to catch my eye. However, all that changed when I was sent sample bottles of the shampoo and conditioner to try a few months back. I was in no rush to try it out, but when I did I found I was pleasantly surprised. The bottle stated ... Read the complete review

After using a 2-in-1 anti dandruff shampoo for the last few weeks, my hair was in desperate need of some tlc. Although my hair was dandruff free, it was dry, brittle, dull, and even though my natural hair has a tendency to be straw like, it felt really horrible, as if I could just snap it off. I usually spend a lot of time blow drying and straightening my hair but it felt so bad I didn't dare risk adding heat damage to it, so have had it twisted up into a bun for weeks. A few days ago, I decided I had been flake free for a while and it was time to get some life back into it. At this point, I would like to point out I am a bit of a cheapskate - well, not ... I like trying a range of shampoo's and buy quite a variety. However, one that I seem to buy quite often and come back to is this one. This shampoo first caught my attention do to its perfect description which I have not seen on other shampoos. It states its for mid to long length dull hair. It also states that it is a nutri-gloss shine shampoo with shine booster. That it includes protein and pearl which illuminates and softens, with mirror shine and cashmere touch. The bottle comes in bright pink and looks similar to the above picture. There are 2 types of these shampoos available with slight product description differences and I tend to buy both depending on ... Read the complete review

I tend to go through phases with shampoos depending on what is on offer but this is one that I tend to look out for. The main reason I tried it to start with was because it is for mid to long hair that is fine and turns greasy easily - which is an exact description of my hair. I was amazed to start with that someone had come up with something so specific! The smell of the shampoo is pleasant - it is a kind of 'fresh' smell which I put down to it containing citrus. I also find that a little goes a long way as the foam produced by this product is quite intense! I'd suggest using half what you normally do! The thing I liked the most about ...
