It's pretty much a given that when I visit my best friend who lives by the coast for a few days I don't bother taking along toiletries and bathroom items like shampoo and conditioner as we use similar products...and nearly always L'Oreal Elvive. Now I usually use colour protect for my coloured red hair but my friend concentrates more on getting a sheen on her tresses hence the very girlie pink 'Nutri-Gloss Shine Shampoo' found on her bathroom shelf. One of the problems with dying my hair is that the natural oils can be stripped leaving it dull and lifeless when the colour starts to fade so I was interested to see how this shampoo performed compared ... Elvive is a brand that specialises in hair products especially shampoos and conditioners. ~~~BOTTLE DESIGN~~~ The bottle is not special in any way, just a typical shampoo bottle with a lid, and hole, where it uses a squeezing mechanism so the shampoo can come out. I think this is an OK design but some originality or specialty would be nice in order to make it more premium. ~~~APPEARANCE AND TEXTURE~~~ The shampoo itself is a nice glossy pink colour, with a thick, creamy consistancy, and is smooth to the touch, but slightly sticky. It is free running but not liquidy. ~~~APPLICATION AND EFFECTS~~~ The application ... Read the complete review

I like to ring the changes when it comes to shampoo, so when I spotted a buy one get one free offer in my local Tesco the other day on L'Oreal shampoo I decided to buy a couple of bottles. L'Oreal make several different shampoos for different hair types and I decided to try Nutri-gloss. To be honest the pretty pink bottle first attracted me! However, on reading on the bottle that this shampoo was perfect for dull hair that had lost its shine my choice was confirmed! L'Oreal state that this shampoo contains pearl protein, found in natural pearls. They say that it is this protein that gives natural pearls their shine and resistance. L'Oreal say that the pearl ... I've seen the advert for this L'Oreal Elvive Nuti-Gloss range on the TV so many times, and to be honest I didn't pay that much attention to it. However I read somewhere about the Nuti-Gloss Light, made for fine hair that turns greasy, and that sharp drew my attention. I have to wash my hair daily as it's very fine, and it gets greasy so quickly, and if I don't wash it one day then my hair will be really greasy the next. Even if I leave out my conditioner this still happens, and I try my best to avoid shampoo's that mention 'moisturising' or anything similar as they're often too heavy on my hair and make it worse. I made a mental note to keep an eye out for this ... Read the complete review

Who will like this product: Those looking for a shampoo to add a toucjh of gloss to your hair. Also those who are attracted to the pink packaging. How much does this product cost: This product cost me £2.69 in Asda and varies in other stores. Look for haircare offers in stores such superdrug and boots. Product Description: The bottle is very appealling: Shocking pink! On the front is the classic Loreal Paris logo in silver on the front. The product claims to contain pearl protein and citrus, to give long lasting clean ang light feel, mirror shine and cashmere touch. the shampoo itself is a pearly pink colour and the ...
