My hair is in really bad condition because I wash it every day and am brutal with the straighteners and also dye it purple!

I have been using L'Oreal Elvive's colour shampoo and of course to finish off my hair washing I have been using this excellent conditioner to match the shampoo :)

Designed to 'Colour Protect' like L'Oreal shampoo, this conditioner is designed to untangle hair and leave it moisturised and in better condition with a 'healthy-looking' shine...

There are UV filters built into the formula as well as a 'light reflecting system' which is great for deep coloured hair like mine of course.

The size I am reviewing is the 400ml which was sold on offer with the same size container in the shampoo size for 2 for £4. Usually this costs £3.39 on its own - but is worth it at full price too.

The bottle is red plastic and can be recycled, the flip up lid is on the bottom this time which can cause the entrance to clog up a bit - I don't like this design (:

Elvive's write up says 'hair is protected for visibly prolonged colour radiance' and how our hair is under attack from pollution and the sun as well as frequent washing.

The formula contains an active nourishing ingredient and filter to help the outside of the hair feel silkier and the hair fibres from outside aggressions...

Promising 'long lasting intense shine' this is exactly what I want for my shade to look its best!

Using this conditioner is easy, straight after shampooing rub enough through the hair to cover all the strand and then leave for a minute for best results if you can and then rinse.

Elvive say the hair will untangle and won't feel heavy and it doesn't.

Mine feels gorgeous and smooth afterwards, even when I've blow dried it.

It also feels hydrated and softer so this is really good stuff. My locks also look shinier; you can tell the difference so I think this product is well worth five stars from me and I'm going to carry on using it :)

Summary: A muct have quality conditioner!
