Bold, Confident Colour! (L'Oréal Feria Colour)

Advantages: Easy to apply, staying power!

Disadvantages: Apparently the smell, though I strangely enjoy it! The price is higher than other makes!

I have been dying my hair using Feria for three years, and would not change my choice for anything! A natural dark blonde I use the scarlet power colourant once every 6 weeks and have found this make to be efficient in remaining a strong colour, as well as not appearing, thus far at least, to do any damage to my hair!

I have in the past used other brands, and I have found these to run out and fade a lot quicker than Feria. Red colourants are typical for fading, and indeed by six weeks after dying the colour is not as bold as it was straight after, but it is strong enough to not annoy me, and also has never turned any form of orange or copper, which with other brands I have noticed as the red aspect fades. It is not desirable to look like a Gimme Gimme Gimme drop out prior to re-dye and so I shall stay loyal to Feria, as it has stayed loyal to me!

Equally I have suffered no aspects of uneven colouring, due to terrible hand eye co-ordination in mirrors I get my friends to help me dye my hair, and all have found it easy to use and apply, the consistancy of the dye being easily spreadable, and visable enough to see that it is well applied.

I would suggest the price, especially as it appears to keep increasing, is problematic, though most stores offer sales, its simply a case of stocking up at the right time!

Summary: Brilliant hair colourant and a fantastic range of colours!
