Advantages: Can be a bright colour result

Disadvantages: It won't last long!

I have used 4 different colours of this dye, P21 Starry night, P67 Scarlet power, P76 Spice power, P48 Pure purple power. Sometimes I think it's a wonder my hair never all fell out, even though it did start to once and I had most of it shaved off, never to be repeated again lol.
Now firstly I will explain the colours P21 is a blue black, P67 is a very red red, P76 is like a red copper tone and P48 is a dark purple.
Now these are like all normal home colourants ( gloves, info leaflet, developer, colour creme, conditioner) except with the addition of one more thing - the colour booster. This is basically a concentrated pigment which you add to the mixture when preparing. Loreal claims this adds vibrant colour and will give a multi-faceted result.
Remember to check the box before buying as I have had o go back several times to the shop as there was no colour booster inside.
As for ease of use the feria colour is straight forward - you have your easy to follow instructions and gloves, and make sure to do the allergy test first just in case.
I found the smell of the dye to be average. The dye was not too runny and coverage was good.
The initial result with Starry Night was the truest to the box (I have naturaly brown hair) but the purple was not quite as vibrant. The Spice power was almost invisible on my hair, but when I tried the scarlet I decide to learn from the past and put in some highlights first. This really captured the colour.
Unfortunately the results with Starry Night didn't last very long, the blue tint cam out after a few washes and the black started to fade after a month, which isn't what I expect from a name like Loreal. The red shades also faded soon, which is normal for red shades, but this was even after using a colour preserving shampoo.
As you are going to spend around £6 for a box of this I wouldn't recommend it. But if you do want to use it then lightening your hair first will help the dye to stick, but would also increase damage to the hair. An alternative would be to lighten the hair and then use a conditioning semi permanent colour of your choice.

Summary: The colour result doesn't last long enough for me
