I have used Loreal Feria Contraste twice now due to the fact that I got fed up with spending ludicrous amounts having my hair highlighted professionally. I was pleasantly surprised by the results.

The box contains a bottle of dye, a bottle of colour developer - these are placed on top of each other and easily click into place. You then shake them to mix them. Then you add the booster powder that is provided into the mixture and shake again.
You are then ready to apply the mixture to your hair.

The mixture is applied to dry hair with the help of a small diamond shaped brush. You apply the colour to the brush and then brush through your hair where you want the highlights to be. This is easier if you have previously had highlights done as these will give you a rough indication of where to apply it. If not the help of a friend may be a good idea to ensure that you do not end up with weird streaky hair or miss out bits at the back or your roots.

When you are happy with the application the solution must be left in your hair for 20 mins and then rinsed out. A sachet of conditioner is provided aswell.

I found this product remarkably easy to use and incredibly effective. The instructions provided were easy to follow and due to the use of the brush the process was not messy. The end result is excellent and I now have lovely blonde highlights (or stripey hair as my friend calls it).

I would highly recommend L'oreal Feria as it is fairly cheap and easy to use and produces good results.
