Advantages: Good range of colours, Leaves your hair in great condition

Disadvantages: Messy to use, A bit pricey compared to other brands

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a serial hair-dyer. Every couple of months or so, I get the urge - nay, need - to dye my hair some new, exciting colour. In the past, this has resulted in a head full of hair with the texture of straw, which falls out at the slightest gust of wind. However, those days are now behind me, since I discovered L'Oreal Feria hair dye! I won't pretend that I now have a head of hair to rival a supermodel, but it's a lot better than it was. I still dye my hair every couple of months, but it's in great condition, and I've had quite a few compliments on how good it looks.
Feria comes with a little bottle of conditioner, to use after you've messed around with the dye itself. This stuff is fantastic, and if you're like me, and have quite short hair, you should get two or three applications out of it. I reckon if they sold this stuff in big bottles, they'd make a fortune!
Another plus point with Feria is that the colour lasts for ages and ages without fading, which is very important when you're going for the 'vibrant, get noticed' sort of look! The only reason I re-dye my hair now is either because my roots are coming through, or (more likely) I've got bored and need a change.
A word of warning - using this can get very messy. No matter how careful you try to be, you will always end up with blobs of dye on the bathroom carpet, splattered down the side of the sink, or all over the towels. And if you get it on the towels, it won't come out (if anyone has any remedies for this, I'd be very grateful to hear them!).
It's also worth mentioning the smell - make sure you have a window open when you're using Feria, or you could quite easily gas yourself.
Feria can be a bit more pricey than some of the other brands - I usually buy it in one of the discount chemists, or wait until it's on special offer.
Having said that, though, I would certainly recommen
d Feria. They have a good range of colours, with a farily accurate guide on the box so you know what you're letting yourself in for. It really does condition your hair as it colours it, and it won't fade. Oh, and one more thing - the gloves they give you are the best I've ever come across, too!

Just get rid of the carpet in the bathroom, put some tiles down - it's easier, then all you have to worry about is the outcome of your hair, not of your carpet!

Good Op. C.
