I've colored my own hair for ages - a couple of decades, at least. I normally use L'Oreal Preference and found that my hair actually felt BETTER after coloring than before. On a whim, I tried Feria - looking for that highly-touted depth of highlights. The color was nice, but man! My hair is totally fried! I can barely get the styling brush through it. I've spent over $100 on various conditioners in the last few weeks. Nothing helps. Tomorrow, my hairdresser will start chipping away at the damage. I expect it will take at least three visits to snip it all off. Never again!

I have used 4 different colours of this dye, P21 Starry night, P67 Scarlet power, P76 Spice power, P48 Pure purple power. Sometimes I think it's a wonder my hair never all fell out, even though it did start to once and I had most of it shaved off, never to be repeated again lol. Now firstly I will explain the colours P21 is a blue black, P67 ... Read the complete review

It has to be said that I have had pretty much every hair colour going. I have done all sorts to my hair in the name of getting the exact shade I want, whether it was using fabric dye and liquid food colouring in my punk days, (as well as all the glue I used to put in it!) or using the more natural 'Directions' dye in more recent years. However, I ... Read the complete review

My natural hair colour is dark brown but I have been lightening my hair since I was 12 after school bullies made comparisons between me and Wednesday Adams! I have used all makes of bleach products for a 'streaky' effect and also use a blend of colours to lighten or darken strands of hair to make my colour look more natural. This was the latest ... I use this colour to touch up my roots and used to use it for my whole head when I was a redhead... anyway, all round pretty good stuff for store bought colour! My hairdresser uses Redken Professional colour on me now so can't really compare as you do get different and way better and more accurate results with salon products. However, for a ... I have been dying my hair using Feria for three years, and would not change my choice for anything! A natural dark blonde I use the scarlet power colourant once every 6 weeks and have found this make to be efficient in remaining a strong colour, as well as not appearing, thus far at least, to do any damage to my hair! I have in the past ... Read the complete review

Yes folks in her quest for the reddest hair of them all, the Mack has tried another hair dye for your pleasure. Whether or not it'll be her pleasure after all this is anyone's guess. As my last dyeing session was less than satisfactory and very time consuming, I decided to speed things up with one of my old faithfuls. Feria has lots ... Read the complete review

As someone who has dyed their hair for 11 years since the age of 12 I am always on the look out for a new product that promises great end results. I have been using the L’Oreal Recital Les Noirs Richesse in Black/blue or Black/purple and was happy with that until I had the urge to be more daring and have a change of colour. So, whilst in ... Having an ever changing hair colour I often get sucked in by all the new dyes out there on the market. Having used Feria colour before and been very impressed with it, I was intrigued by the new "Colour Boost Technology" packs they have just released. So of I toddled to Boots to purchase said product. I have to admit, I'm a bit of a serial hair-dyer. Every couple of months or so, I get the urge - nay, need - to dye my hair some new, exciting colour. In the past, this has resulted in a head full of hair with the texture of straw, which falls out at the slightest gust of wind. However, those days are now behind me, since I discovered ... Now and again a girl feels the need for a bit of a change of image and one thing I find gives me a bit of a boost when feeling like this is changing the colour of my hair. Nothing drastic, just a slight change of shade and I can guarantee it will be left looking in great condition with an amazing shine. I do this by using L’Oreal’s ... Read the complete review

I have used Loreal Feria Contraste twice now due to the fact that I got fed up with spending ludicrous amounts having my hair highlighted professionally. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The box contains a bottle of dye, a bottle of colour developer - these are placed on top of each other and easily click into place. You then ... Read the complete review

Because I regularly colour my hair (at least every six weeks) and have had a few bad experiences with hair colours I tend to stick to the one brand which is usually L'Oreal Revitalise, however when I was in Boots, a couple of days ago, I came across the Feria range and because it was made by L'Oreal I was a bit more confident using it than ... Well I've tried nearly every permanenet hair colour going trying to find one that lasts more than three weeks. And sadly this hair dye is no different with regards its lasting power. The dye has many advantages over other ranges, the colours available are more varied and vibrant than other ranges (i used the cosmic blue one) with colours such ... Read the complete review

I was fed up of having brown hair and wanted to go back to having a little fun with colour before my hair got too grey to do it myself successfully. So on my last shopping trip I found a shade I loved the look of and took it home. Dying your Hair….Should you. Sorry, the title is a bit silly. Why wouldn't Feria hair dye work for men, after all their hair is quite similar to women's if not identical... but... anyway back to the point. For some time my husband has been experimenting with hair dye. As he's an archaeologist and he's often covered in muck this makes no difference to ... Read the complete review

asked my flatmate the first couple of times I dyed my hair red. It is amazing just how much colour can come out of one small bottle, and how little of it can actually end up on your hair. This is kind of an occupational hazard when dying your hair, especially if it's quite long, like mine. I'm better at not splattering the basin now but ... Read the complete review

I've been cursed with dull brown hair, so I tend to colour it at home a lot as going to a hair salon each time can be expensive. As I'm always willing to try new brands I found this permanent colour to give good results. I tried a dark red and the result was similar to the colour on the box (which makes a change). The ...
