I also selected this one as it was said to have a 2-1 conditioning formula. My daughter's hair can get really tatty so this really appealed to me. I used the shampoo during bath time, a small blob was rubbed into her wet hair and I was impressed that it began to work up into a good foamy lather. I was able to give her hair a r...more

Premium Review L'Oréal For Kids Shampoo: Not mild enough for my daughter (769 words)

We have always used Johnsons baby shampoo on my daughter but recently I've started to notice that her hair is becoming increasingly tangled, so I asked our hairdresser if there was any types of conditioners about for youngsters that would solve the problem. She told me L'oreal make a kids shampoo and conditioner. On my next trip to Tesco I spotted it amongst the shampoos so checked it out. As my daughter is only two I first checked to make sure there was no minimum age recommendations and there wasn't so I duly purchased a bottle at £1.60. It was quite expensive compared to the Tesco own brand at just 38p for the same size bottle but I thought with it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review This shampoo isn't really worth it (409 words)

I told you earlier about my experience with L'Oreal childrens conditioner that I brought for my grandaughters. At the same time I brought the childrens shampoo. I got the Banana and Melon one because their hair is fine and dry and is very flyaway sometimes. I wash my younger grandaughters hair for her but the other one is 11 so she does hers herself. I wet my grandaughters hair and added a small blob of the shampoo. I then rubbed her hair to get a good lather and made sure I washed all the little hairs around her ears and everything. The shampoo lathers up very well and left her with a "hat" of bubbles on her head which she liked because ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review L'Oréal For Kids Shampoo: Big Kid in the Fast Lane! (909 words)

Hair care for me should be as non-intrusive as possible. To quote a famous brand I like to be able to wash and go! Alas, I wasn?t given the raw materials to work with and my hair will always despise conditioners and need the styling and attention that I am loathe to give. The L'Oreal for Kids range of shampoos simply screamed at me from across the supermarket aisles. I was initially attracted by the brightly coloured, slightly odd shaped bottles and upon closer inspection came across the magic words "fast dry" This was too much. The girl has to have some. And so that, your honour, is how this childless 29 year-old came to have in her possession a ...  Read the complete review

I always used Johnson's shampoo on my little ones hair - I loved it, loved the smell and made my insides go all gooey. Well my youngest is now 2 so I really must face up to the fact that I don't have a baby anymore - get a grip girl. Anyhow when I finished the last bottle of Johnsons, instead of just buying another, I began to look for an alternative. The L'Oreal brand seemed like the most obvious choice, it was the only leading brand that was offering a range for children. I selected the Cheeky Cherry Shampoo, I opted for this one primarily for a purely self-indulgent reason, I absolutely love the smell of cherries and if my little angels hair smelt like ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review L'Oréal For Kids Shampoo: Because they are worth it (437 words)

I love the smell of lavender and do believe it does help relax you which is why when I spotted this childrens shampoo from L'Oreal I thought it was worth a try to get my two young boys to unwind a little in their bedtime bath.. I am a big fan of L'Oreal products myself so was expecting this to be very good. My two boys have normal hair and though neither has long hair they're still prone to tangles now and again. Price and packaging~ I saw this kids shampoo in my local pound shop so no prizes for guessing the amount! With the fragrance being Lavender the bottle is attractive to the eye because it's in the same shade. Now as my bathroom is ...  Read the complete review
