Advantages: Smell Great, Reduce tangles, are tear-free, Fun and Colourful
Disadvantages: On the Expensive Side, May smell so good kids may want to eat it.
I'll be honest: I'm a big kid. If something is packaged in bright colours and has a cartoon face on it, chances are I'll buy it. Now, the shampoo aisle in the supermarket doesn't usually contain too many brightly coloured, cartoon adorned packages, so it's no surprise that L'Oreal for Kids managed to catch my eye quickly. Now, I'd walked up and down past this stuff a million times and had never bought it. I'd always wanted to buy it, but for some reason I just felt like too big a wean to actually take it up to the checkout, but one day I just threw caution to the wind and nestled it in the trolley among the loo roll and bubble bath. Now, the second thing that you really should know about me is that I'm the laziest person in the world when it comes to washing my hair. Now, obviously I need to do it, but I avoid conditioner if I can help it 'cause it just seems like too much extra time and hassle added to an already unpleasant task, and I hate having to use a hair dryer as it takes so long for my hair to dry (my hair is long). However, no need to fear, because L'Oreal has a 2 in 1 shampoo, Fast Dry shampoo.. My supermarket didn't have the best choice, but it did have Burst of Pineapple Flash 2 in 1, and when I first bought it it came with a promotional Finding Nemo bath mitt...what more could a girl ask for in life? So I took it home and examined the bottle. I wasn't too confident. After all, it was kids' shampoo so it would probably dry my hair out or make it feel sticky or something equally horrible. It stated it had a no more tears formula, but I doubted the validity of this statement. It also said it reduced tangles, but I didn't have much faith in this statement either. Most of all, I doubted t
he claim that it was Fast Drying. However, it came in a colourful bottle, so I was chuffed at that alone! So I decided to give it a go and the first thing that hit me was the smell. Oh my word! It was wonderful! It smelt really pineappley, and I didn't want to wash it out of my hair it smelt so good! All for the sake of research purposes, I let some slip into my eyes, and although it made my eyes feel rather dry it didn't sting them like ordinary shampoo did. Ok, brownie points to L'Oreal so far, then. It worked up a good lather and rinsed off easily. I kept as far away from the hair drier as possible, and true enough, my hair was dry really quickly, a lot quicker than it would've been if I'd left it to dry itself after using another shampoo, and my brush ran through my hair really easily both when it was wet and dry. For once, it seemed, I'd found myself a product that didn't just adorn itself with marketing ploys...it really worked! I stuck to this for a while, and then went back to ordinary shampoo, but nothing makes my hair feel as soft and manageable as L'Oreal For Kids, so I'm going to go straight back to it! L'Oreal kids products are available in different varieties: Fast Dry Burst of Pineapple Flash 2 in 1 Fast Dry Burst of Cool Melon Shampoo Burst of Juicy Grapefruit Conditioner Sweet Pear Tangle Tamer So Strawberry Shampoo Burst of Tropical Fruit Shampoo Splash of Sunny Orange Burst of Cherry Almond I suppose these products are quite expensive, especially for kids, as they usually come in round about the £2 mark, give or take 30p or so, and they smell so good kids might try to put them in their mo
uth, but they are excellent nevertheless, for little kids and grown up kids alike! Capital letters courtesy of: http://www.chuckleweb.co.uk/fixit.php

- 09/09/04 Funnily enough, I don't use this. But I probably did a few years ago when the only worry in my life was when I could go and play with my friends.
