Advantages: Reasonable coverage, easy to blend

Disadvantages: Only 25ml in the bottle

WHAT IS IT?

A foundation that comes with a reasonably good brush attached to the bottle. You twist the base and the foundation will work its way up through the brush, once it's visible you simply use the brush to apply it in the normal way.

IS IT ANY GOOD?

It's not bad. Not the best foundation I've ever used, but definitely not one of the worst. The brush causes the foundation to apply smoothly, also aiding blending to create a flawless finish. This isn't a very heavy foundation but will cover small and medium sized blemishes and skin issues. I have used it on clients who have acne scarring and also ladies with mild rosacea, of course it works best on skin which is already smooth and beautiful but it will cover a small multitude of skin sins. It has a good matte finish and will last for at least a comparable period of time to other foundations in this price bracket.

ANYTHING ELSE?

Infallible Brush is available in 6 shades ranging from Porcelain to Rose Beige, there is a small difference in the shades but this is a range suitable mainly for causican skin with the very darkest shade possibly being suitable for light skinned mixed race ladies. I personally use Natural Rose as this shade is almost identical to my skin tone, lending it a slightly more tan appearance which doesn't look out of place thanks to a good blend of yellow and pink pigment in the foundation. I have used the Porcelain shade extensively too as this is very popular among my bridal clients and creating the English Rose look is simple with this shade, although it can cause some argument when ladies who are blatantly too dark skinned for this shade set their hearts on it.

CONSUMER INTEREST INFORMATION

This foundation costs £12.99 in Boots. This is for a 25ml bottle which will last for roughly 5 - 6 weeks with daily use, a poor performance in my opinion as other foundations routinely last me for over 8 weeks.

Over time the brush has proved itself to be a good addition to the foundation, it needs to be cleaned regularly from a hygiene point of view, but it keeps it's shape well and doesn't start splaying as I thought it might after the first few uses.

4 Dooyoo Stars.

Summary: A good but gimmicky foundation
