Advantages: girly, pretty, 2 in 1

Disadvantages: a bit expensive

When my daughter's baby shampoo ran out, I thought that I would try moving on to a kids' shampoo. My daughter loves all things pink, and these shampoo certainly is!

I use a lot of Loreal products so it is a brand I know and trust. The shampoo comes in a bright pink bottle shaped like a fish and is strawberry scented (there are other scents/colours available). I picked this up for £2 in Sainsburys, and have seen it at that price in Asda too. The bottle is bright and child-friendly, my daughter was certainly impressed (she is 2.5 yrs). The shampoo claims to be extra mild with no tears, it is also a 2 in 1 so no need for conditioner (a godsend when your child hates their hair being washed as it means 1 wash not 2!)

The shampoo itself is a creamy white colour. The bottle is well proportioned and easy to grip so you don't end up squeezing out too much. The lid clicks into place securely and doesn't leak. The shampoo is fairly thick so it doesn't run off your hand - it's actually thicker than my Pantene conditioner! It smells gorgeous and my daughter loves it. It lathers well and is a pleasure to use as it smells so nice.

I have used this for a few months now and a bottle lasts quite a while. It is a bit on the expensive side but most shampoos are. I have seen it on offer at £1 in Asda's Baby Event so it's worth stocking up.

I have to say it does leave my daughter's hair very soft and the smell is subtle but lovely, you can still smell it on her hair for a good few hours. I've even used it myself!

Summary: it's worth it!
