Advantages: cheap, makes hairs smooth, felt more healthy

Disadvantages: smells a bit strange?

another week, another shampoo! this time its the turn of l'oreal's latest collection, triple resist reinforcing shampoo.

i've recently been loosing A LOT of hair since the birth of my daughter, and while im told this is normal, it still doesn't make it any less distressing as im sure ppl who have experienced this know! I've tried a few elvive products before and have been less then impressed, but really wanted to give this one a try, if you are loosing hair then you'l know you'l try anything in the hope it will reduce it!

This shampoo claims to reduce hair fall and is designed for people with weak hair-think overdoing it on the dye! the magic ingredients are 'arginine'-an amino acid which has a stimunlating effect and protein which make hair feel stronger, reinforced from root to tip.

There are 4 items in this collection; a shampoo, conditioner, masque and leave-in treatment, all presented in an attractive hot-pink/black eye catching combination. I managed to pick up the shampoo&conditioner on a BOGOF offer in Superdrug which i was really please about as im quite skeptical about buying shampoos as i find a lot dont live up to their expectations! The 200ml shampoo costs £2.69, with the masque being the most expensive at £4.99.

smell-wise, i found it a bit strange, hard to describe, but slightly a bit 'chemically'. maybe its just me! quite pleasant on the whole anyway. the shampoo is quite thick and opaque and easy to lather. The conditioner is also quite thick and easy to spread through the hair.

I've only used this once so far but funnily enough i did noticed less hair fall, especially when drying my hair, usually the brush is full of hairs and this time there were noticably less. it did also feel stronger and more bouncy. Another thing i noticed is that my usually poofy hair felt smooth and controlled which is fantastic as i had planned to straighten my hair but found i didnt need to!

I cant believe im raving about a shampoo but i honestly thought this one performed really well first time round. i will try and stick with using from now on, that's if they dont bring out another 'miracle' hair product!

Summary: really impressed
