A few months ago, I began to notice that my face was drying out quicker and more often than usual. I had been blaming this on winter and being very busy, but after a while I had to admit to myself that perhaps my skincare routine of Boots Essentials products, which I had been using for around 14 years, was no longer doing the job. I decided it was time to invest in a decent moisturiser. After much deliberation in Boots, I chose L'Oreal Hydrafresh moisturiser for normal skin. I've been taking a great interest in my skincare routine recently mainly because I'm getting older and I'd like it to stay looking youthful. As a result I've been trying out a number of face skincare products, starting with high-street ones as premium products unfortunately do come with a premium price tag! After having positive experiences with the Loreal Youth Code range I thought I would try this - the Hydrafresh gel-creme, which promises, according to the packaging, keep skin feeling hydrated.
