Are we quite sure the right tube has been squeezed here? Yes we are, bizarrely the colour of this cream is a slightly greyish pale lilac colour, not at all the colour you'd expect to be smearing over your face. It was at this point in the process that I had to weigh up the risk. I could abandon the process now, since after all they seem to have put...more

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream: Not so magique... (546 words)

Ever since this new BB cream craze hit the UK I've been trying a few different ones from different brands trying to work out what all the fuss is about. I have already reviewed the Garnier BB cream which I personally felt was no more than a really nice tinted moisturiser. I wanted to try this L'Oreal one as I like a lot of their products and had high hopes for this one. The cream comes in a long skinny plastic tube with a twist lid. The body of the tube is white, ever so slightly iridescent plastic which is really flexible and easy to squeeze to get the contents out of the tube. The lid is a purple shiny plastic which twists off to reveal a elongated nib ...  Read the complete review

Although I'd heard of BB creams, I'd never tried one until I received a free sample of Nude Magique in the post, which impressed me enough to make a purchase of a full sized tube for myself. This comes in two shades, light and medium. The sample I was sent was in medium, which was too dark for my skin - so how come I still ended up so impressed that I went on to spend £9.99 on a full sized tube? This cream comes in a nice smart tube, that can be stood on it's flat cap, which I love, as all the product goes to the bottom and dispensing is easy. I like to use my fingers to blend this, but you can use a sponge, and a very gentle squeeze of the tube will get this ...  Read the complete review

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream: I'll 'BB' Back! (717 words)

Until recently I had never even heard of a BB cream, let alone used one. However on a recent trip into Superdrug trying to find a new foundation I stumbled across this 'new' product. To set the scene, I hate the feel of anything too heavy on my skin. I have pale, combination skin. I find it really difficult to find a foundation that is light, suits my skin colour and my skin type. My latest purchases in my quest to find the perfect foundation resulted in me purchasing this Stay Matte Pressed Power (see previous review) and this L'oreal BB cream. *Shades* As far as I can tell, this cream comes in three shades: Light, Medium and Dark. ...  Read the complete review

Could it be Magique now? (222 words)

I buy a lot of makeup products due to being a beauty blogger and i was excited to try the loral nude magique BB cream. I bought it from Superdrug, which is where i normally buy my high street cosmetics from. It cost £9.99 which i thought was quite high end for a high street product. Upon trying the BB cream i was quite pleased at how easily it glided on, the product wasn't 'stiff' or unblendable which is a breath of fresh air in comparison to a lot of other BB creams. Once i had let this set for a few moments i applied my foundation on top (as required) and noticed my foundation looked more oily than normal so i dusted some translucent powder on top to ...  Read the complete review
