Advantages: Cheap, Easy to Use & Long Lasting.

Disadvantages: None.

I'm forever loosing eye liners, along with lip balms and several other items in my make up bag. I just can't seem to keep hold of them no matter how hard I try and have had to resort to keeping an eye liner and lip balm in almost every hand bag I own. My most recent purchase, which I've now had for over a month and have not lost yet, is L'Oreal's Infallible Eye Liner in black which retails at £5.19 in Boots stores at present. The eye liner offers you the chance to enjoy beautifully defined eyes for up to 16 hours (no make up has managed to stay on my face for so long I don't think!) by offering superior long wearing technology. That comment alone sold it to me as I always find I have to reapply eye liner during the day or night whenever I wear it.

The eye liner comes in a standard pencil format which has a lid at one end under which the eye liner can be found, and a plastic lid at the other end under which you will find a built in sharpener and also a smudger to enable you to get that smokey eye effect. The eye liner itself is a creamy formula, it's not a thin pencil but more of a stick liner which I prefer as it goes on thicker and often darker in my opinion. I find it really easy to apply right next to my waterline and it doesn't rub off or smudge easily at all which is something I've rarely found with an eye liner. It glides over my skin so there are no bumpy ridges or anything like that evident when I use this. It only comes off with eye make up remover as I've found water alone won't work at all. I bought the black variant which is really good, the colour is very dark and it looks fantastic when it's smudged slightly to create that smokey effect. The colour dries instantly and I don't have to wait for it to set at all.

This eye liner is available in a dark black, a shimmering black, a brown colour and also a dark grey colour too. This eye liner has been ophthalmologist tested and boasts that it is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers as well. The skin around my eyes is quite sensitive and I haven't experienced any problems at all with this. The only downside that I can see is that the sharpener is a bit of a pointless feature as it's more like a retractable pen than a pencil and so I've never had any reason to actually sharpen it. I would definetly recommend this eye liner as it's long lasting, reasonably priced and gives your eyes a dramatic effect.

Thanks for reading!
