... through. I decided to buy this after shuddering at the idea of applying a cream I had spent way more on (too embarrassed to say- though it was spent in Boots points...) The lotion itself is very...fluid like- not at all like a facial cream, its more like a sun milk you'd apply to your body. It's not what I expected anyway. Npt so nice to apply- as its liquid, it goes everywhere, its hard to know if you have applied enough as you need about a teaspoon of any SPF cream/lotion for your face, but it just runs everywhere, ...more

L'Oreal Solar Expertise SPF 20 Active Anti Wrinkle & Brown Spot Matte Fluid Protection...! Wow! Bit of a mouthful there- The bottle holds 50ml which is fine for a good few months of daily applications- easily an entire summer, so why the title has to feature across 4 lines is beyond me! OK, the bottle cost me £5.99 back in May 2009 from Tesco where is was half price- it was buy one get one free in several other places (Boots and Sainsbury's spring to mind). Not sure on the price right now as you read this though. As mentioned the bottle is 50mls, it sounds like nothing- but remember this is a facial skin care SPF lotion. Not for your entire ...  Read the complete review

I started noticing patches of dark pigmentation on my face when l was still just 30, so I've been looking after my skin and protecting it from the harmful effects of the sun since then. I'm now 45 and have tried several kinds of facial sunscreen over the years, some of which have been absolutely dreadful under any makeup, however lightly applied, and even after waiting for about 20 minutes between applying the sunsreen and the makeup -- blusher and eye-shadow would sort of slide off my face, and my skin would be so shiny! Last year, we were off to California for our holidays, and I was very conscious that it was going to be hard to avoid the sun on a houseboat on a ...  Read the complete review

Introduction I bought this product last December as I needed appropriate UV protection while using Elemis Tri-Enzyme Facial Wash (see my earlier review) as my twice daily anti-bacterial and biological exfoliator routine. Why SPF 50+? The Elemis Resurfacing Facial Wash works by removing a layer of dead skin cells of your skin, so your new, young cells become exposed on the surface. You don't want pollution, UV rays and other environmental hazards damage these young cells straight away. That's why Elemis recommends an at least 30 SPF sun block cream. Having spent two weeks in East Africa last October and beginning of November, ...  Read the complete review
