Advantages: Smells nice, absorbs well
Disadvantages: Bit expensive
I am surprised so few people have already reviewed this product...I can't be the only one that wants to look youthful forever! As I'm getting older I can finally see a few wrinkles appearing here and there and I want to try and stay looking young and vibrant for as long as I can. I'm sure lots of women feel the same way, so I thought I would add a review of this product now that I've been using it for around 3 months.
This cream is described as a 'rejuvenating anti-wrinkle day cream' (there is a night version too which I also have and will try and review soon) and should be applied daily, in the morning on thoroughly cleansed skin. I am not really one of these people who 'cleanses' religiously but I do wash my face with a daily facewash, after which I apply this cream. Like I said I have been doing this for around 3 months now, and I am relatively pleased with the results. I do not think that any cream can magically reduce wrinkles and I think everyone needs to be realistic with products like this.
What I like about the product is firstly the feel of it. The cream is white in colour and of a fairly thick consistency, but it glides onto the skin and absorbs quite well. It feels very soft to the touch without being greasy and I do not think that it leaves any grease behind once it has been rubbed into the skin. Secondly it smells pleasant which is nice.
So in terms of whether I can feel any anti-wrinkle effects, this is what I will say - I am blessed with good skin anyway, so yes my skin does look vibrant most days. Whether or not using this cream is helping to maintain that is impossible to say, but it's certainly not doing any harm. Something that is quite nice is that after I have applied this cream, I have noticed that my make-up goes on quite nicely. My foundation sits on my skin quite nicely and I normally apply it immediately after I have put this cream on.
The biggest downside about the cream is the price. I got it when it was on special offer at Christmas so I paid around £7 or £8 for it (can't remember the exact price) but I think the RRP is around £15 which in my opinion is quite a lot for a 50ml pot of cream. I think I would definitely buy it again if it was on offer but otherwise I would probably look for an alternative.
Thanks for reading!
