*WHAT IS L'OREAL LASH ARCHITECT?* It is a mascara that promises to 'build' lashes up to long, voluminous and luscious lashes which flutter and makes your eyes smoulder. Promises, but does not deliver... *WHY DID I BUY IT?* I bought this because I was in desperate need of a new mascara, having run out on the day of my holiday. On the boat on the way there was a little shop of duty free perfumes, which also had a limited makeup selection. I only recognised L'Oreal from the brands on offer, and generally they are a company that I trust for high quality products. From the few mascaras they had I picked up the cheapest one, lash architect. As ... Read the complete review

Iv tried a lot of mascaras but this is the first of Loreals that i have bought. I got it from Boots for about £10 and it claims to give a false lash effect, which is why i bought it as i cant be bothered applying fake eyelashes all the time. It comes in a long black tube with the name written in white, nothing special but i was more interested in what it claimed it would do. It says that its a false lash effect mascara and gives a dramatic and sophisticated look and that its clump free. The applicator brush is a bit longer than normal mascara brushes, which i thought would be a bit tricky but i didnt find it much different when applying. I got it in midnight ... I am almost scared to write this review as it has been a scary experience using this mascara, I just wished that I had read some of these reviews before purchasing it. But when you have 15 minutes in a store and a grumpy boyfriend who is NOT interested in advising you then its just hit and miss, when it comes to buying makeup. And unfortunately this was a big miss on my part. Basically I just bought the mascara that was being promoted at the time, and it happened to be this one. I bought it in midnight black, as I already had a brown mascara for day, but was looking for something a little more dramatic for night. First Impression: The ... Read the complete review

If there is one item that I usually don't leave the house without its mascara. I don't wear tons of makeup but I kind of feel naked without mascara! I have quite long lashes, so I'm lucky in that respect, but I am always looking for the next best mascara to make the most of it. I'm a massive fan of Max Factor & Lancôme - they have achieved the best look so far so I flit between the two. However, I read a review on here (or maybe the other side??!) a couple of weeks ago about L'Oreal Lash Architect saying how great it was, so I thought Id give it a go..... I bought the mascara in "Midnight Black" colour from Boots for £8.99. ... Read the complete review

Every mascara wearer aspires to create that ultra long lash effect that is digitally created on the television adverts featuring the likes of Penelope Cruz and other famous superstars being paid a fortune to sell us the next best thing in lash defining mascara products. In my quest to find an amazing lash enhancing product I have experiences the blobby brand, the gunky goo, the slick stick, the straight brush, the plastic applicator, the curve creator, the two tone twist, the expensive experience, the cheap choice, the wondrous wand and.... the Architect. This sleek silver tool claims to fulfil every woman's dream of amplified lashes and aims to ... Read the complete review
