Iv tried a lot of mascaras but this is the first of Loreals that i have bought. I got it from Boots for about £10 and it claims to give a false lash effect, which is why i bought it as i cant be bothered applying fake eyelashes all the time. It comes in a long black tube with the name written in white, nothing special but i was more interested in what it claimed it would do. It says that its a false lash effect mascara and gives a dramatic and sophisticated look and that its clump free. The applicator brush is a bit longer than normal mascara brushes, which i thought would be a bit tricky but i didnt find it much different when applying. I got it in midnight ... I am almost scared to write this review as it has been a scary experience using this mascara, I just wished that I had read some of these reviews before purchasing it. But when you have 15 minutes in a store and a grumpy boyfriend who is NOT interested in advising you then its just hit and miss, when it comes to buying makeup. And unfortunately this was a big miss on my part. Basically I just bought the mascara that was being promoted at the time, and it happened to be this one. I bought it in midnight black, as I already had a brown mascara for day, but was looking for something a little more dramatic for night. First Impression: The ... Read the complete review

I found this product out from an advert on the TV and thought to myself wouldn’t it be great if it produces the effects as stated. So I went out and brought some. L’Oreal has always been what I would describe as a good, reliable brand. When looking in the shop I found the mascara as easy as anything. It didn’t come in a box but the mascara was attached to a flat piece of white card which had attached to it a clear plastic cover containing the actual mascara inside. It was priced at £8.50. The mascara itself is in a silver matt finished 8ml container and on the lid at the very top is a non-metallic shiny silver end. It looks quite classy simply from ... Read the complete review

Mascara is the absolute staple of my make up bag, and im pretty much obsessed with trying to find the perfect one. I have had a couple of tubes of this mascara and am a little undecided. To start with it is great mascara. I found it gave me really really long, almost false lash effect lashes. They were thick and really defined. However, over time it very quickly became quite clumpy as it began to dry up and lose the "new mascara" consistency. Then I found that it tended to just make my eyelashes very spidery and they tended to clump together in a big lump. Another bad point is that it takes some serious elbow grease to get off!! It wouldn't simply come off ... Read the complete review

I paid £8.99 for this mascara and have been so disappointed with it. I usually buy from the cheaper ranges but these also seem disappointing lately so I thought I could trust something that I consider expensive. It has the most extravagant claims on the (unnecessary) packaging so you would be forgiven for thinking that you were buying something of quality. The product is gloopy and sloppy and does not stay on your lashes for more than a hour or so and certainly does not live up to any of its claims. It is extremely difficult to remove. The 'panda' eyes annoyed me more than anything else because I have been looking for a mascara that does not ... Read the complete review
