Advantages: Good and effective product

Disadvantages: Pricey because of brand

Another facial cleaning product I have tried is the Men Expert Cleansing Gel. It was one of my favourites before I found that there were other effective products out there too that worked well and weren't quite so expensive. However I first got this as part of a gift set with other Men expert products included, and like any good facial wash I have used it left my skin feeling very soft and quite a bit brighter than others have done.

As you would expect from L'Oreal and a facial wash that costs £5 for 150ml, it does contain a lot of hype about how it works in so many different ways to make the skin feel better. Unlike some other facial washers, it does not really dry out the skin much at all, and has that mild tingling feel when used that suggests it is getting to work. Whenever I used this, my skin did seem to glow more than it does now that I don't use it any more.

L'Oreal claim that it contains ADS, which stands for Active Defence System to keep the face clean and to reinforce the skins natural defence. It also claims that it leaves the skin less tight, however surely this would allow more dirt and pollution into the skin?

Overall, it is an effective facial wash, but for the price you pay I would rather use an alternative product, and in my opinion all the hype of what it does really doesn't do any favours for me as it leads me to believe that most of that is made up to try and sell the product.

Summary: Good but cheaper alternatives avaliable
