So, I love painting my nails, even though I'm really not very good at it! And I'm always on the look out for new and different nail polishes. I mainly tend to use my trusty Nails Inc varnishes as well as my many No 7 ones.

I received a money off voucher to get a discounted Loreal 'Resist & Shine Titanium' polish, so I headed off to Boots so I could try it for myself. There were lots of colours available, many of them incredibly bright. I chose a colour that I've not really used before - a kind of pale, gold - number 395.

From what I remember, the bottle of polish cost me a couple of quid, but they retail for around £6.

I find the bottle very unusual, yet appealing. The bottle is not a typical shape, but does look lovely and modern. The lid looks massive, but it just serves as the housing for a simple screw top which becomes the brush handle. The brush is fairly standard for a nail varnish brush and I find the polish easy to apply. I always use a base coat before applying the varnish and find that this really helps it to go on more smoothly and last. The varnish does smell, but no more than any other nail varnish that I have used.

The 'Resist & Shine Titanium' polish claims to last up to 7 days. I have currently had mine on for just over a week, it's a little tatty where I have caught it, but the majority of my nails actually still look fine. The colour is stunning and I would thoroughly recommend it. It looks exactly the same as the colour that you can see through the bottle and I've had many compliments every time I've used it.

Overall, I think this is a great polish and I plan to try out the other colours to see if I like them as much!
