Reason For Purchasing L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Day Cream:
************************************************* *********
I have been using L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Day Cream for nearly one year now, so I thought I would write a review on it to let others know my opinion on this beauty product. Well I was first introduced to this cream when I watched an advertisement for it on television one evening featuring the actress Andie MacDowell. I really was quite impressed on what it contained and how it claimed to work, so I was quite interested in this cream and wanted to try it out for myself really. Well the next time I went shopping I actually saw this beauty product on a special introductory offer in Superdrug, nicely displayed and this enticed me more into buying it. It had a few pound off it on this Introductory offer I remember. The full retail price 'at the time' for this cream was going to be around £15.00 and I could not let this offer pass me by, so I bought it.

Well another reason I bought the L'Oreal Revitalift cream was because I had started to notice a few wrinkles 'or frown lines' on my forehead, a few crows feet around my eyes and a little tiny bit of looseness to the skin around my mouth. I am 38 years old and had used Olay products for over ten years. I was happy using them and tried all the new ones that they kept making and was pleased enough with them really. Well I had seen this cream advertised, as I mentioned above and thought maybe my Olay products where not working as well as they should as I was starting to notice my skin looking a little bit wrinkly on it so thought it was time I started using something else also.

*********************************
Firstly, What This Cream Claims To Do:
*********************************
Well L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Day Cream contains the anti-wrinkle ingredient called Pro-Retinol A. Pro-Retinol A 'apparently' will deliver vitamin A to your skin cells, revitalize cell metabolism which helps to give it a healthy and more youthful glow. Pro-Retinol A also claims to smooth, soften your skin and boost it's collagen production. Collagen production then 'apparently ' increases in elasticity. Pro-Retinol A also claims to lessen the appearance of wrinkles by reducing the number and length of lines which will then leave your skin beautifully soft and smooth. This information I obtained from the L'Oreal site, but I thought it would be useful to explain what's in this cream and how it works.

Also combined in the L'Oreal Deep Set Wrinkle Cream is Fibro-Plastyl which apparently will help to reinforce your skin. Fibro-Plastyl is a type of herb by the way. Well these combined ingredients claim to moisture, reinforce your skins surface structure for you, so your skin should be left smoother, rejuvenated and those deep set lines or wrinkles you might have should apparently appear reduced and your skin should be noticeably firmer. L'Oreal Revitalift also contains SPF 15 UV Protection which is good also, as it gives you a little protection from the Suns harmful rays. These ingredients are all clinically proven also. So does this cream work? Well read on.

Packaging And Design:
********************
The L'Oreal Deep Set Wrinkle Day Cream comes in a well presented white gift box which is useful if you are going to give it to someone as a gift, but being a deep set wrinkle cream I think you might offend someone really, so unless they specifically ask you for it as a gift, I would recommend only buying it to try out for yourself. Well it comes in this nice little gift box which is well presented in gold lettering and has a nice picture of the actual container the cream comes in on the front of it also. A little information on the product, the words L'Oreal and the size of the container that the cream comes in (which is 50ml) is nicely printed on there also. Overall a well designed gift box in my opinion.

The container or little bottle that the L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Cream comes in looks very nice in my opinion. It really is well designed also. It is a clear plastic cylinder container and inside of that it has another little red cylinder which contains the cream. It is flat bottomed and quite lightweight also. At the top of the bottle before the pump dispenser it has a lovely shiny silver rim with the words L'Oreal engraved into it. The silver rim with the red coloured cylinder really sets it all off and makes it look very stylish to me. Well also on the bottle is the words L'Oreal Paris, Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkles and other information that states that this creams a restoring day cream, is an anti-wrinkle plus a firming cream and this is all written clearly in white print. On the back of the bottle the size of the bottle, the L'Oreal website address, the expiry date of using the cream 'which is within twelve months from when first opening' and directions of use can be found there also.

*******************
The Pump Dispenser:
*******************
The pump dispenser on this Revitalift cream is very good. It is made of a thick white plastic and is locked when you first receive it. You just turn it gently to the left and this opens the pump action up and on pressing it down will release the cream for you. The locking action is a good touch in my opinion if you want to carry this cream around with you in your bag as it will not leak any cream out on you. Well the pump action works very well. One pump of this cream releases a pea size amount of the cream and this enables me to cover one side of my face. Another little press will give you the right amount of cream for the other side of your face. There is a very tiny rectangular slit where the cream comes out of though and this does get clogged over if you leave any unused cream on it to dry in, so my advice is to wipe it with your finger or some cotton wool after you use it. It's not a big problem though, but it has clogged up on me a few times. Well overall a great working dispenser that lets out just the perfect amount of cream each time, so saves waste.

****************
The Cream Itself:
****************
This Revitalift Deep Set Cream comes out of the dispenser really well. It is 'off white' in colour and is neither a thick or a runny cream. It is the perfect consistency to me and it certainly applies to my skin very well and very evenly indeed. I found a few gentle rubs completely covers my whole face with two tiny pumps of the cream from the dispenser. I tend to rub it in well around my mouth, eyes and on my forehead for a few seconds also. It really is a very nice cream to apply to your skin in my opinion and goes on very easily and very smoothly indeed. The cream also does not dry into your skin straight away, so this allows you to massage it in where you want it to. After a few minutes you can feel it drying in and it feels more powdery when touching it. It really is not a very greasy cream either like a few others I have tried. This cream feels very lightweight on my skin also and feels very luxurious wearing it.

*************
The Fragrance:
*************
The L'Oreal Revitalift Cream really has a very mild fragrance to it. It certainly does not smell of chemicals either. To me, this cream has a very faint scent that is very pleasant. It reminds me of a baby powder in fragrance. A tiny bit sweet, but it is a very mild and fresh, clean fragrance. Well it really is a very faint aroma and you have to hold your hand or the bottle up close to your nose to actually smell anything from it really. This is good I find, as I do not really like putting perfumed fragrances near my face, as mine can be sensitive to soaps and fragranced products. I would nearly say this product is an un-fragranced one really.

******************************************
The Effect's Of The Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkles:
******************************************
I apply this cream in the morning after my shower and have done so every single day for nearly one year now. Well after I have applied it evenly and worked it in well, I can actually feel the firming action that this cream has working and tightening my skin up especially around my cheeks and eye area. I can't see this effect, but I can certainly feel it on my skin. Also on first applying the cream I noticed the smoothness to my skin straight away. When rubbing my hand over my face it really does feel very nice and really soft. This cream really does moisturise your skin instantly and has a lovely cooling effect also to it I find. It leaves a lovely velvety feel to your skin overall.

As a moisturiser this cream is one of the best I have ever used before on my face. I love the effect it gives and the way it makes my skin feel. Well does it reduce wrinkles? I hear you cry. Well not at first. You certainly will not notice any difference to your skin after one week of using it wrinkle wise. You will notice the firming and moisturising effects straight away, but the disappearance of wrinkles, no.

Well after one month of using the L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle cream I was slightly surprised one morning. It was actually looking as if the four deep lines I had on my forehead now looked smaller and more smoothed out and not as deep to me. I thought maybe it was the light in the room and sort of doubted the cream really as actually being able to do this, so thought nothing more off it until a good couple of months later when I thought the skin around my mouth was actually firming up a little there to. Honestly I did notice this. The few wrinkles I had where certainly a little bit fainter looking to me. They where still there, but to me they really did look fainter.

In August it was my Grandsons 1st Birthday. My husband took lots of photos that day and I uploaded them on my computer a few days later and my daughter and I had fun looking at them. A photograph of myself holding my Grandson came up and my daughter said "oh Mum you look so young there" ????? WHAT! I swear. My 12 year old said this to me. I had no foundation or anything on that day either as it was Summer and I don't wear it in Summer. I can honestly say I was very surprised with what my daughter was saying to me. Maybe it was just a good photograph I don't know, but they say the camera never lies. I honestly do not want to stick my neck out and say this cream did this, but it has crossed my mind. I am afraid to say it works very well at smoothing out wrinkles as people might think I am lying, but honestly, I am writing an honest review and I do believe this cream does work at smoothing out wrinkles. Not miraculously or anything, but I honestly think it works somehow. Lots of people are saying to me that I don't look the age I am which really is pleasing me also. Maybe I am just lucky. I don't know.

I went on a few websites recently to read up on this cream as dooyoo only has four reviews on it and one site I came across has 49 reviews written about this product. Well out off a 5 rating on that site, this cream got a rating of 4.29 out of those 49 people. I started reading the reviews and they where all good also and others where claiming this works at smoothing out their wrinkles also. If you do not believe me I can send you a link. Have L'Oreal actually got a product that works? It is hard to believe and I still do not know what to really think myself, but it is looking like it. It will be interesting to see what this cream does with long term use of it. I certainly won't be buying anything else now. L'Oreal recommend using this cream along with a few others in this range, for your eye area etc, for even better effects. These products are down in price, so I am going to start using them also. This bottle of cream has lasted me about 11 months so I certainly think this it is good value and for such a small bottle, it really has lasted very well.

Another little thing about this cream I find, is that it dries very quickly after applying it. In the morning I can apply my foundation and other make-up, straight after I apply this Wrinkle cream and I no longer have to wait a while on the dying of it like I did with my other facial creams I previously used. This is another plus point to this cream. Once applied in the mornings it leaves your skin soft, feeling firmer and looking quite radiant, right through until the very next day. The more you use it I found. The better the results it gives you.

L'Oreal recommends to use this Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle cream daily, every morning on perfectly cleansed skin. It is said to be a restoring day cream, an anti-wrinkle cream and also a firming cream. I can honestly say that it is. It also recommends that when first opening this cream, to use it up within 12 months. L'Oreal has a great website for more information on this product at www.lorealparis.com.

My Overall Opinion:
*****************
My bottle of Revitalift Cream ran out last week and I went straight out and bought another bottle of it when it did. I certainly will not be using anything else for the time being, unless another great cream comes along or until I can afford a facelift or Botox. My Mum has used many expensive face creams, some costing hundreds of pounds and she says she is sticking with this one also, as this cream gives the same effect as they do and for a fraction of their price. I honestly can not believe I am writing a good review on an anti-aging cream that works. But I am. I really hope others will give this cream a try now also and read up about it and check out the many good write ups it is getting.

Well overall this cream is fantastic. I love the effect and smoothness it creates to my skin, but I really am pleased most of all with the smoothness it makes to those few wrinkles I have. I honestly am saying I can see the difference. Oh the wrinkles are still there, but they certainly are much finer (especially on my forehead) and are really not as noticeable to me. I wonder if this cream will stop the appearance of other wrinkles appearing also. I guess only time and other people accounts of it will tell though. It will be very interesting to see my skin in another years time. I also love the lightness to this cream and the way it makes my skin velvety to the touch. The little bottle is so easy to use and apply the cream with also. There's no mess and no greasiness with this product either which is great.

I certainly will have to highly recommend this cream to you. You really should try it out and use it for a few months and see what you think about it for yourself. I really think it takes time to work and hopefully you will notice a difference like I honestly have. Well I really am impressed with it overall. I think it is a remarkable product and one I really am pleased I tried out. My skin really feels and looks much smoother than before and what I really like the most, is that this product is affordable to me.

Well if you have got this far in reading my review you with know by now that I am extremely impressed with it so there's nothing less than 5 stars for this wonderful product from L'Oreal.

This L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Wrinkle Cream can be bought at the moment, from Amazon, for £9.99. To me this is bargain for this cream because it works well and the bottle lasted nearly one year also.

İhildas/hillhead.

Summary: A great anti-wrinkle and firming cream that actually does work.

I was very interested to read this review, as I've been looking out for something that will actually work well on me (a challenge as I'm over 20 years older than you) sounds as though this needs perseverance but sounds hopeful
