My hair is mostly straight, but with a bit of a natural wave. I normally straighten it, however occasionally I curl it -either with tongs, or by doing that twirly thing with my GHD's! As my hair is very thick and a bit frizzy, it doesn't tend to hold a curl for very long and also the curls can look a bit messy, due to the frizz. I wanted a product that would hopefully calm the frizz and hold the curl. To be honest, the only reason I chose L'Oreal Hot Curl Spray, was because it was the only product I could find that I thought would be suitable. ~About the product~ L'Oreal Studio Line Hot Curl, markets itself as a spray which is specially developed ... I have really thick hair which has a slight wave, also some parts of my hair are quite frizzy. My hair is really annoying and doesn't hold styles very well without being sprayed within an inch of it's life with hairspray and various styling products. I was looking for something that would de-frizz my hair and hold in curls for at least a few hours, I have tried a few products but none of them worked very well. I found L'Oreal Studio Line Hot Curl Spray in my local Superdrug and thought that it looked good. I also liked the packaging because it is bright pink, so I decided to buy it. I followed the instructions on the bottle that go with using this ... Read the complete review

Some hair types curl easily just by blow-drying, but if I try to keep a long lasting curl in position just by using the hairdryer then i`m afraid within an hour or so the curl just drops out. I bought a new Babyliss hairdryer with all of the attachments, including a diffuser, the hairdryer is fabulous but the curl still drops out quickly. Even using a fair amount of hairspray still doesn't keep the curl in place. As usual I was hunting the shelves in Superdrug looking for hair care help because we were going to a restaurant with friends for a meal that night and I wanted to create a new look. The bright pink L`Oreal bottle took my eye ... Read the complete review

I bought this product about a month ago and was dissapointed. My hair is quite wavy and frizzy so I wanted this spray to hold the curls after I had made curls with my tongs. The spray is about £3.50, the price varies depending on where you buy it. The packaging is quite simple which is a pink plastic bottle with a spray pump. The fragrance is quite nice. I used the spray on my hair before curling it with my tongs. After I had curled it the curl went hard after about 5 minutes. The curl did stayed for about an hour or two and then fell out. To make it work you can only curl a very small section of your hair and even at that the curl still falls out. So overall ... Read the complete review
