How did I end up buying L'Oreal Studop Line Hot Straight? My mission in life is to find some way of getting my hair to STAY STRAIGHT. It's very fine and does not behave and takes 20 minutes of blasting with a hot hot hot hairdryer and a good 15-20 minutes with some hot hot hot staighteners, and then I step outside the door and a gust of wind makes me look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards and then been skydiving. So I have to straighten again. I have been known to straighten my hair 5 times in one day. Obviously as you can imagine all of this heat isnt so good for my hair. I have tried many straightening creams and found some to be ok ... Read the complete review

Most days I straighten my hair. It's a job I hate but at the same time a job totally necessary to my overall sanity and well being let alone my appearance! My hair is at best described unruly. It seems cliche to say that cos at the beginning of most peoples reviews they state that but in my case it is by no way an exageration. I even have the most awful eyebrows but anyway moving on.... My hair (on my head!) is dyed at the moment with a black Japanese hair dye. It is shoulder length and has greasy roots after a couple of hours (which makes the hair flat), a frizzy mid section and my ends are straggly but I really want long hair! Now I can if I put my back into ... Read the complete review

I love getting ready to go out, as I am sure most girls....and guys....will probably agree. The usual routine of carefully straightening the hair this way and that, applying just the right amount of hairspray, just enough to keep it natural but not so much that you look like your wearing a motorbike helmet. You check the mirror once, twice, maybe even a third time before you leave the house and everything is looking great, then diaster strikes. I know others share my pain and will appreciate my following explanation. Everytime I am feeling good and ready to go there is a particle of moisture in the air, that turns my perfectly coiffeured bonce into what I can only ... Read the complete review

I recently had a full fringe cut in and when I was in the hairdressers they used a cream on my hair before they blow dried it, adding a tiny amount to my fringe too. I get my hair cut at Toni&Guy and the hairdresser I go to tends to use the same products on my hair every time, whilst explaining what each product does and why she is using it. As she applied the cream she explained that it would help smoothe my hair and control any frizz, as well as protect it from heat damage. I currently don't use a cream like it and instead just use a heat defence spray, which doesn't seem to control my frizzy hair! The Toni&Guy products however are quite pricey with ... I have relatively long, thick layered hair that, unless I run the straighteners over it, is unruly to say the least. It it not overly curly or frizzy or anything, more kinky and very, very thick. To straighten is to neaten in my case. I have used a number of products alongside the straightening irons to aid the process and also protect my hair, one of these such products is the Studio Line Hot Straight Cream by L'Oreal. In truth, I only purchased this product as it was available on offer in Boots, priced at around £3 for 150ml. This is on the cheaper end of the scale for hair products that I usually buy as I tend to opt for salon brands such as TIGI, but ... Read the complete review
