The gel is quite runny and easy to apply - it spreads out very nicely across the skin, and apparently it contains AHA's (the scientific jargon which means that it will help to reveal fresh skin and get rid of old skin). I rub it in well, making sure I haven't streaked it or otherwise messed it up (so easy with fake tan!). This time, I just apply it to my face, neck, c...more

Premium Review L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel: L'oreal from the Sublime to the ridiculous (554 words)

L'OREAL SUBLIME BRONZE SELF-TANNING GEL - Tinted This cost me around £9 from my local Boots. It's a self-tanning product, also known as fake tan, in a squeezy tube which is easy to identify as self-tanner because it's in those typical colours of bronze, brown and gold. The tube is 150 ml in size, and apparently it is for both the face and the body. Unlike some tanners, this one has both a long-lasting tan which develops over a few hours, and also an instant tan - it is sparkly bronze in colour, and it also contains a 'light reflecting formula'. This means that you can see where you are putting it straight away, so there is no ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A natural looking self tanner for a reasonable price (825 words)

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze I've always been self conscious about my weight and it is true that having a tan makes you look slimmer. When I was in my twentys I used sunbeds regularly so that I always looked tanned & slim. I also like the feeling of the warms rays on my skin, especially if this was in the middle of the cold winter months, brrrrrr...... It was watching programmes which show you the effects of what too much sunbeds have on your skin that made me switch over to using self tan from the bottle. Like most products you have to try and test them and decide for yourself which one suits you. I started of using St Tropez ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel: great unit a few days later (260 words)

I am always on the hunt for a great self tanner that is fool proof so thought I would give this a go. I like that I can actually see where I am putting this due to the fact it bronze tinted. It really did help with the application and I did not experience any streaking (like I have with so many others). The scent is nice aswell. I like that it leaves a nice shimmer on my skin. Tans my arms and legs nicely and does an even job on my neck, chest, and stomach area. The smell is very nice and not I got great color from just one application and waited 2 days to re-apply. Also, it did not dry my skin out (like many self-tanners) nor was it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review STREAK FREE TAN (373 words)

L'OREAL SUBLIME TANNING GEL Because you're worth it I am a number one fan of a decent fake tan, but as we all know disaster fake tans are out there and if you are like me, feel much better with some colour you will have tried several brands. I have tried so many including the majority of cheaper brands, and some of the more expensive as Piz Bun but I usually end up looking like an orange. I then discovered the above-mentioned fake tan. It is quite thick gel and smells good compared to most fake tans. It is amazing and I find the skin 'drinks it in'. I find it best to apply after a bath when your pores are slightly open. After you have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel: A very natural looking tan (371 words)
by - written on 30/05/09 (Very useful, 87 readings)

I bought this on a half price deal in Morrisons as I was looking for a fake tan that wasn't too expensive. I usually try them then don't bother applying them again. I was surprised with the feel of it as its a gel and unlike any I've used before. I exfoliated my skin in the bath first and put a bit of moisturiser on my ankles, elbows and knees. It went on quite easily and spread a long way. It did take a long while to dry but I put a strapless bikini on for about 30 minutes and I felt it was a lot drier. I usually do it before going to bed but I didn't this time. I was impressed by the colour as in the morning it looked really natural ...  Read the complete review
