My usual mascara is Clinique, but when I saw this mascara on special offer in Boots for £6.80 I had to give it a try. I have to admit I was influenced by the lovely Penelope Cruz on the advert ! My initial problem was the packaging. I need to know whether I am buying a waterproof mascara or not (I have to be able to remove it quickly at night). The packaging had loads and loads of information and diagrams about the 'revolutionary' flexi-globe brush, and the 'spectacular results' but there was very little practical information on the packet. I looked at the L'Oreal website for help, but it did not have the information. Having bought the mascara, I ... Read the complete review

L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara. This product is a mascara (with lengthens and thickens your eyelashes). It is made by one of the leading companies in creams and make-up. You may recall the slogan on their TV advert 'Because you're worth it'. L'Oreal cater for men to. I was captured by the advert for the above mascara, and luckily it was on offer at Boots, so I bought two. One for my daughter and I, as she steals my mascara anyway. Have you noticed how your teenage girls need three to six different mascaras? Back to the product, I was a little disappointed in the packaging, red and black, not classy at all. It looks like something the ... Read the complete review

We, girls, can not live without mascara and I am always on the hunt to find that magic one that will make my lashes look extra nice. Also I have a terribly weakness for new products with a difference and since Ginvenchy launched their mascara with a ball-shaped brush I was intrigued. But with a hefty price tag I decided to forget about it. Then came along a L'Oreal similar product, the Telescopic Explosion Mascara. I saw it on offer in Boots for £6.80 instead of the normal £8.80 price tag so I could not resist. The mascara comes in two colors: black and brown in a red and black tube containing 8ml. I chose the black one. The ... Read the complete review

Well, I have used a lot of mascara's in my time and none as awful as this one! I found it absolutely useless. The advert looked great, as they always do, making claims it would separate and fan out lashes making them longer and thicker, honestly this just is not true. The brush is tiny like a globe and makes it very difficult to coat the lashes, being small it takes twice as long to go over your lashes and then you have to do it at least a couple more times as the brush doesn't hold much mascara. I found my lashes were being coated by the wand rather than the actual brush. My lashes were fanned out but barely visable as I just couldn't ... Read the complete review
