L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara.

This product is a mascara (with lengthens and thickens your eyelashes). It is made by one of the leading companies in creams and make-up. You may recall the slogan on their TV advert 'Because you're worth it'.
L'Oreal cater for men to. I was captured by the advert for the above mascara, and luckily it was on offer at Boots, so I bought two. One for my daughter and I, as she steals my mascara anyway. Have you noticed how your teenage girls need three to six different mascaras?

Back to the product, I was a little disappointed in the packaging, red and black, not classy at all. It looks like something the cheaper companies would use, for example, Rimmel.

The positive is like most of L'Oreal mascaras it doesn't smudge, and this is not a waterproof one. I couldn't find a waterproof in this product.

The consistency was okay and the smell nondescript. I often wonder if they use the same mascara cream but with different packaging and a different brush.

Unfortunately I have not been blessed with long thick natural lashes so have to go to it with the mascara to get a decent effect. I was very disappointed with this one. Small brush just took twice as long to get going. It did pick up a few smaller lashes, but nothing you would write home about.

I actually found I used the actual wand (the bit the brush is attached to) of the brush to hurry things up. I still stick with my other review on best mascara is Max Factor Masterpiece!

If you use a few mascaras to get that thick black look, this product would be useful to top up on the small lashes, but otherwise I would not bother.

It makes me laugh how all these top companies advertise on TV with beautiful models quite obviously wearing false eyelashes. They think us ladies are 'stupid not to notice'. No way could we get their effect with just plain old mascara!
