Advantages: Didn't dry out my skin, covered my spots and blemishes, easy to apply,

Disadvantages: none

Normally I don't really use concealer, I normally just apply some foundation. But recently my skin has been getting quite dry from foundation, so I decided to give my skin a bit of a break and just use a bit of concealer instead. I got this product from ASDA for £8.12, which for me is a little bit pricey, but compared to other concealers which can be like £25, I guess the price is reasonable. I have had a look on websites and on the tube and I can't actually find out how much is in the tube so sorry about that! To give you a bit of an idea the tube is roughly 13cm, but the amount of concealer in the tube is around 8cm.

A concealer can come in a stick form, or it can be liquid, the one I am reviewing is a liquid one. Concealers are used to cover blemishes and dark circles under the eyes. The Touche Magique concealer comes in 6 shades to suit all different skin shades, I got mine in ivory.

This is some information I got from the L'oreal Paris website about what the concealer claims to do. 'True Match Touche Magique concealer is an illuminating concealer which helps to visibly improve the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. It will leave the delicate skin around the eye area looking radiant and smooth, as well as perfectly concealing any blemishes.' To be honest, I didn't buy this concealer for under my eyes, (although I have used it under the eye) I mainly bought it for my spots.

The concealer comes in a small thin nude coloured tube. To get the concealer to come out the tube you just pull off the lid at the top and a small brush will be revealed. You then twist the bit at the bottom of the tube and out will come the concealer through the top of the tube. It's quite simple really! When twisting the concealer out the tube be careful to twist it a little bit at a time, as you don't want to twist out too much concealer as you cant get it back in the tube again.

To apply it you just simply brush on the concealer, under your eyes or anywhere else you want it to be applied. When applying it to my spots I just kind of dab on the concealer, and then smudge it towards my spots.

I found that when applying it, it was really easy to use! When applied to my spots, I could hardly even notice them so I was very pleased about that! And when I applied it under my eyes and to my red cheeks, the concealer glided on easily with no trouble. And when I rubbed it in with my fingers it easily blended into my skin. I got Ivory as my skin colour is quite pale, and ivory matched my skin colour perfectly, it wasn't too orange like you get with some concealers. Also when I used the concealer it didn't make my skin dry like it had with some foundations, so I was extra pleased about that! The most important thing I wanted the concealer to do though was to cover up my spots and blemishes and red cheeks! And it was perfect at covering them all up. I no longer had dark circles under my eyes, as I have already mentioned it covered up my spots brilliantly, and it was excellent at hiding my red cheeks. My skin actually looked really clear, a lot better then the foundation had made me look, as it just dried out my skin.

The concealer stayed on my face for quite a while, around 8 hours if I wasn't doing any exercise or anything. But it is quite easy just to touch it up throughout the day if needed.

I am very happy with the concealer and would definitely consider buying it again. But I must admit I did buy a stick concealer as I read that it lasts longer then a liquid one. However I did really like this product, so it gets 5 stars from me!
