... when I have a mad moment and use another foundation, I end up dabbing on Translucide as a concealer. And though it may conceal well, that's not to say it's thick. It's nice and light, and as long as you blend it in properly and don't cake yourself in it, you won't end up with a 'make-up face'. That's a very important thing to me - that people can't even tell I'm wearing make-up, and L'Oreal delivers. It blends well and the colour (mine: Nude Beige) is very well suited to my skin - I find that a lot of foundations look...more

Premium Review L'Oréal Translucide Lasting Luminous Makeup: A great foundation (361 words)

I am a sucker for 'drug-store foundations' and I rush out to buy the latest cheap make-up in the vain hope that it will be the Holy Grail of Foundations and I'll live happily ever after. But I always come back to L'Oreal Translucide. I guess it's the closest I'm going to get to my Holy Grail. My skin is fairly problematic. I usually have a couple of spots to conceal at any one time. I have some acne scars as well, and to even out my skin tone is the main reason I wear foundation at all. L'Oreal Translucide is great. Even when I have a mad moment and use another foundation, I end up dabbing on Translucide as a concealer. And though it may conceal ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on L'Oréal Translucide Lasting Luminous Makeup

CONTAINER of L'Oreal Translucide - Advantages: The product itself has been invaluable to me. I have sun damaged skin and the translucide makeup camouflages the imperfections perfectly. - Disadvantages: The bottle has an attractive shape. However it is probably designed by a man who does not have to use the product on a daily basis. The rim of the opening is always messy after use and does not drip or fall back into the bottle. It has to be wiped., Considering the price, I feel the product would flow better and be cleaner to use if it were packaged in a tube (like toothpaste). Consider the advantages when travelling - the bottle tends to allow leakage.

Premium Review L'Oréal Translucide Lasting Luminous Makeup: It is actually worth it! (442 words)

I was actually looking for a tinted moisturiser but walked out of the shop having bought this instead. It promised light, natural looking coverage - and light reflecting particles (whatever that may do for your complexion if there is such a thing!). Well, even though I was 150 points up on my Advantage card, it was still worth the £9 that I paid for this foundation. It's extremely light, very easy to apply and really doesn't look that heavy. I wear this for work as during the winter months my skin (along with practically everyone elses') gets very dry and frankly I need a bit of slap on to look half-human. I don't however, want to ...  Read the complete review

I dont know what possesed me to buy this foundation!, i normally despise foundations because they're so heavy and un-natural looking, i guess i bought this foundation because it is promoted as being lighter and more translucent than other foundations. I can now rave that it is the best foundation i have ever tried, and has converted me to using foundation!!! Having struggeled in the past to find a foudation that wasnt bright orange on my quite-pale skin, i was very pleased to find that their palest colour (sorry, dunno what its called) was a perfect match!! woohoo! and i think their colours would stretch to suit most skin colours because of the more ...  Read the complete review
