L’Oreal is one of those huge global companies that seem to be everywhere at the moment and they’re pretty hard to miss what with the numerous TV adverts for the latest hair colour, lip gloss or eyeshadow. L’Oreal have been in the cosmetics industry now for 75 years – quite a long time, and currently own 19 global brands, which include L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York and Garnier. They pride themselves on ‘enhancing our brand portfolio with innovative products and to meet the most demanding standards of quality and product safety at all times.’ (taken from http://www.loreal.co.uk). Now normally, L’Oreal products have always been just that little ... Read the complete review

Loreal True Match Foundation. Well this is one of those foundations that you are very happy with at first, then you are left thinking, if only i'd spent just a few more pounds I could have got myself something a lot better. Over all its a very good product. It never goes flakey or caked and does blend in well. Its true that the colour does seem to alter to suit your skin tone. I've been told that my make up looks very nice when i'm wearing it. One of the best things I find is that my skin doesn't look shiny as it naturally wears off, as a lot of foundations do. ..... But... Although I said earlier that it blends well, this is ... Read the complete review

I seem to have a strong case of Grass Syndrome. In case you've never heard of Grass Syndrome (if you have I suspect I know you or you've listened in to my conversations...), it's a strange and incurable disease which means no matter how much you like your current product/ item, you will invariably try out a different product/ item next time just to check that the grass isn't greener. I was running out of my current wonderful foundation, and thought I would try a new, different one. I saw L'Oreal True Match foundation in Superdrug and remembered the pretty adverts with beautiful people sporting blemish free, glowing skin, so thought I'd give it a ... Read the complete review

As I have probably mentioned in other reviews I'm not a big liquid foundation fan I find it to messy and generally hard to apply but when I heard of this particular foundation had been released I thought Id give it a try because I do often find it difficult to find shades that match my skin tone. The bottle design is quite good because it has a little pump at the top which means you only pump out as much as you need which is good for me because I always find that I spill to much onto my hand and end up wasting a lot of it. Anyway it was pretty easy to apply, it wasn't to thick to rub into my skin and I found I only needed a tiny amount to give me ... Read the complete review

~~ Introduction ~~ When it comes to buying any kind of skin care product I am incredibly conscious not to upset my hyper sensitive skin, this can often result in me repeatedly buying the same products regardless of the fact that they are invariably below a five star rating. I also have a fairly low budget so cost is also an important factor. A couple of months ago I found myself in experimental mode and went in search of a new foundation. Generally speaking I would always advise testing foundations out before purchasing them unless of course you have read some excellent reviews and can identify with a particular skin type. A shop assistant will ... Read the complete review
