I was actually given this as a gift and was a little dubious as I have heard both good and bad things about it. So I gave it a try and was reasonably surprised.

THE LOOK:
So from the outside it's a winner!!! L'Oreal's True Match Minerals comes in a nice chunky clear container with the loose powder in the base. A blusher style brush is attached to the top with a lid to cover the bristles. It does look a lot like Boujour's powder eye shadow pots, that were released a few years back but that isn't a bad thing. It is novel and a clever design.

THE PRODUCT:
I have found the product to work well the shade I have which is Golden Beige has a good balance and is perfectly suited to my skin tone. I have also found the brush on top to be decent, not like one of those cheap blusher brushes that molts more than a golden retriever. I have also found that you do have to make sure you have spread evenly as if you aren't looking properly or in a rush it can build up in some areas but a quick wizz over with the brush and all is well again and the coverage even.
I really like the smooth feel of true match once it is on as well as the fact it doesn't rub off on everything.

PRICE:
This is where True match minerals falls down a little. The cheapest I have seen it (not on offer) is £12.99. Although I know many people have different opinions on the prices they are willing to pay on makeup im one of those who likes to pay a little less than this.

OVERALL OPINION:
Overall im really pleased with this product the even coverage and smooth feel makes it a winner in my eyes. I am however not that impressed with the price to me it's a little steep so if I was buying it myself I think I would have to look around for offers or maybe a cheaper equivalent.
The design of the product is ingenious with the built in brush there is no having to scrabble around for applicators and also where the brush is covered by the lid it does keep my make up bag a lot cleaner as well as the other products that lurk in its depths.

I would recommend this product as I feel it does have some good advantages, but like all foundations the shade is everything.

Summary: if the price is right give it a shot
