A True Match Mineral Foundation That Lives Up to It's Name (L'Oreal True Match Minerals)

Disadvantages: A little hard to put on when your in the car or on the go

I was happy upon seeing this product being well reviewed. here on Dooyoo. Sometimes you come across products you really fall in love with and you want to see everyone else love them just as much.

My last review here was on another mineral foundation purchase I made not too long before I bought this, L'oreal True Match Minerals ( not too long = 1 day after I returned the other I instensly disliked).

I wanted to find a foundation I could wear everyday that wasn't a liquid but that also didn't cost as much as Bare Minerals ( Which is a great product just wel....expensive for my cheapskate tastes).

While I was at my local Tesco's wondering why so many people still buy Hobnobs and other biscuits when they're so bad for you (no offence to people that are Hobnob junkies), I purused through the make-up aisle as any normal female does.

I noticed a women come straight up to the L'oreal section and without even looking picked up two of these True Match Mineral Foundations and walk away. I went to step over to that area to look at what they were and then another woman came up (and rather rudely jumped in front of me) , to pick up the same foundation but took a moment longer looking for her colour.

While I was slightly peeved she cut me off, I asked her

" Have you tried this before"?

She said,

"Yes".

I was thinking, "Wow thanks for the curt and lack of information reply", when she snobbily said,

"It's just as good as Bare Minerals".

She then walked away in her slag red stilleto heals and overly tight skirt. While I wanted to throw a swear word that rhymes with "itch" her way, I couldn't help but wonder if what she said was true.

It couldn't be coincedence that two women so close together in a span of time were buying a foundation that was lacking. So, I looked for my closest colour match and bought it.

Ten pounds was well within my budget and made it worth a shot. I went home took off my old make-up from the day and tried this new stuff on.

This is how it went,

6:45pm: Washed off old make-up
6:47pm: Went into the kitchen to get a very large glass of wine.
6:50pm: Took wine into bathroom and started to put on the foundation
6:51pm: Noticed that the brush was really soft
6:52pm: Wondered why the foundation wasn't sprinkling all over the bathroom sink like most Mineral powders do
6:53pm: Saw the colour matched my skin perfectly
6:54pm: Finished putting it on using a lot less than I normally do and seeing that my skin looked almost flawless
6:55pm: Finished Wine
7:00pm: Ate Dinner and Watched a Movie
9:30pm: Read a book some before bed
11:00pm: Fell Asleep while reading book
7:15 am the next day: Forgot to wash off the foundation but noticed it looked the same as when I put it on the day before.
8:30am: Went to work and got a few compliments on how great my skin looked. Had an awesome day at work.

So there you have it. I couldn't have wanted more for a foundation than for it to do those chronologically listed things....Soft Brush, Unmessy, Great Colour Match, Blended perfectly, and could sleep in it.

For 10 pounds this has been the best make-up purchase I've made in a long time and I have a slightly rude snotty tight skirt wearing woman to thank for it. So if your out there reading this Red Stilleto Slag "itch", Thanks!
