Being a big fan of YSL's Touche Eclat - YSL's infamous under eye concealer - I didn't know what to expect from this product. I've tried out lots of similar products in the past, that all claim to do the same job at a cheaper price but have been disappointed. Being a bit struck for cash, I couldn't afford to splash out over £20 on one product so, after seeing a review in a magazine, decided to opt for Loreal's Visible Lift. I paid just over £6 at my local Boots. And while it's no match for the Touche Eclat, it's a great alternative for those on a budget. The consistency of the product is perfect, which I find is really important with under eye concealers as the skin under the eye is so delicate. It doesn't cake the skin like so many of the the cheaper alternatives on the market, but glides on smoothly, although it takes a bit of patting in. What really impressed me is that, like the Touche Eclat, the product seems to absorb into the skin and significantly 'lighten' the under eye area making you eyes appear brighter. The colour of the product is slightly lighter than my usual Touche Eclat (shade 1) and not quite as natural and I found the brush to be less flexible, making it hard to reach the inner corners. It's also smaller than a Touche Eclat, I'm expecting it to last me another 5, 6 weeks, with several applications a day, while the YSL product I'd expect to last 3 months. That said, for what I paid, I am very happy with this product, and I'll have a hard time deciding which product to chose when this one runs out.
