.net is an excellent magazine to which I have subscribed for the last 3 years. Unlike some of its competitors, it is aimed at those wanting to get more out of the internet by going into much more depth on issues such as online shopping, promoting a website, web creation/programming workshops.
To supplement the written material, the magazine comes with a CD packed full of essential software. Rather than duplicating the stuff which appears on other magazines' free CDs, the .net CD is a real gem coming up with a host of essential software.
.net is thoroughly recommended to anybody wanting to find out more about using the internet effectively.
