I have been reading this newspaper since i was a lot younger.
I always find this newspaper very useful for a number of things.. reading the local announcements i.e deaths, birthdays etc. My family always use this for coming of age announcements. I have had many a photo in there.

Being a Southampton girl i do read this paper regularly and i have to say its always been very informative and usually worth the 30 odd pence they charge us for it. The first Southern daily echo was published in August 1888. The main office's of the newspaper are in Redbridge area of Southampton.
