... noticed the last reviews of this magazine were from a few years back, and probably from a time when it was at its best. It started up as an antidote to the bland establishment footie culture that blanketed the game in the 80s.It was sharp , opinionated and at times very very funny. There was a cartoon they published where Dalglish is being interviewed and is asked whether he would swap Bobby Mimms for a pork pie. Unfortunately, we have the minor issue of paying off our debts first, so we spend a good deal of time living vicariously through others experiences whether it s Location, Location, Location or Extreme Makeover: Home Edition . Guardian is a left leaning daily paper, the paper is a nominal follower of the labour party but the parties move to the left of centre has allowed the Guardian to attack them more than they did in the mid nineties. The Guardian was originally published as the Manchester Guardian and is perceived as attracting a more liberal, left wing readership as characterised by the right wing press as wooly liberals.
