Top Ten Non Fiction - General ... was a challenge set ages ago by Malu and these are my answers: Question: What is your favourite genre? Don’t really have one. I’m always weary of buying a book that is on the current bestseller lists as I tend to find that 90% of such books are usually very poo poo. Although this is not always the case. One exception was the wonderful Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Q: Do you read the classics, i.e., the great authors of the 18th and 19th century? I have read a few of them in the past, but I have tended to favour foreign writers rather that English literature. Official PlayStation 2 Magazine ... used to buy this magazine when it first came out and it has got great tips and cheats in for playstation 2 games and with nearly every magazine you get a demo disc with some great coming releases on there and you can play some of the new games not all of it but a little taster before you buy. The magazine cost about £3.50 and that was quite a few years ago.Istopped buying it stopped playing computer games when i had my children. My partners uncle bought the playstation2 magazine for my daughter a couple of months ago and i thought i would flick through it before she reads it and was horrified to find that quiet a few pages had adult contents in there and when i told my ... Top Ten Unreadable/Unfinishable Books ... absolutely love reading books and I would say 90% of the time I really enjoy them. The problem is though that there is that 10% that are just so bad that they deserve to be labeled as the worst books ever so that people can be warned. However I do realise that everyone cannot have the same taste so please don’t take offence if I say I hate your favourite book. Anyway here is my list. 10: It by Stephen King. I loved the film when I saw it and I thought it was a good idea to read the book but I did not even get past the second chapter.
