I have been buying this weekly gardening title for many months now and must say it is one of the most interesting and informative, without being staid, gardening mags you can get. I moved to a new house in October last and for the first time I had a proper garden *and* a grogeous conservatory. Therefore it was about time I gained some know how in the garden department.

I needn't have worried. Thanks to Amateur Gardening I now have hundreds of seedlings (not to mention larger plants)in various states of development both in the conservatory and out in the garden now. I am about to take the plunge into vegetable growing too now!

Anyway .... Amateur Gardening is for amateurs. Stating the obvious really isn't it, but that's what I was when I first started buying it. Mind you, even though I've now learned a thing or two I will keep on buying this magazine because it is pack jammed with techniques, news and views, articles, events and horticultural discussion, not to mention a really useful Q & A section every week. You can ask your own questions to the team via phone or email too! Excellent for amateurs.

Almost forgot - you also get free seeds or bulbs with every issue.
