OK I’ll come clean, I’m not an illustrator and some may even say I’m not an artist but a have a yearly subscription to this magazine. (I doubt you’d call my marshmallow and felt textile pieces art). It is £2.60 and is available monthly. You can get this magazines at all good newsagents (and some bad ones too!) If you currently subscribe by postal order, cheque or credit card you can receive a 20% discount and a pack of artist paper. Now I'm not a 'practicing' artist as such, but my degree is in the arts and I just ADORE this magazine. It's glossy, informative, sumptuous, entertaining, original. Every month, for a mere £2.60 you get practical features (tutorials) about different mediums and artistic genres; drawing, pastels, oils, illustrating, techniques. Interviews with artists and illustrators, really interesting and educational articles about, say, reproducing your work as prints, resident artists, new 'stars' of the art world. On top of this there are many regualr features which are also compulsive reading; letters, diary roundup, (exhibitions, ...
