... magazine for me. You are guaranteed to get callers because people love buying of this paper. People wake up at around 6 o clock just to buy this paper and start buying. I was getting calls for the car at 7 in the morning from different buyers all of them offering different prices. Just by advertising the car on here so many people were after it. Everyone is trust worthy to so by using Auto Trader I had my car sold with in a week. Also for buying cars I would recommend waking up early and getting the paper. The chance...more

Auto trader is the easiest way to view thousands of cars in your area. It is a magazine which advertises new and used vehicles for sale. They advertise the sales of cars, bikes, vans, trucks, plant machinary, motor homes, caravans and boats, literaly selling everything with an engine so what ever you are loking for you are sure to find it in this magazine. Some of the advertiers in auto trader are buisinesses but most are just people like you and me trying to sell there car. Premium Review One stop shop for vehicles and accessories (251 words)

At £2 a copy, Autotrader is the mag to have when it comes to buying a car. It's been around for a long long time, and has built up a reputation as being the one to get. I've never sold a car in it, so can't write about that, but I have used it as a customer. Most of the pages are newspaper style - cheap paper and messy print that makes your fingers look like you've been playing with coal. The inside is a mixture of private and trade sales on vehicles. This means all prices are catered for. Sections divide different makes and types of car, such as classic or sports, and between all of it there's something for everyone. The magazine is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Autotrader: A tool - straight from the eighties and so useful now (782 words)
by - written on 18/05/02 (Very useful, 631 readings)
Rating:

Autotrader is an icon of the eighties that has moved into the new century with grace and skill. This is not through active management but it has been driven by market forces and as such it has survived. Both a magazine and a website, it is dedicated to the sole aim of selling cars and car accessories to the Great British public and it does this very successfully. The magazine is on sale for £2 at every newsagent and bookshop. It is sold nationally but is divided into 13 regions and each regional issue sells goods and services in that corresponding region. It contains lists of motors that individuals want to sell giving a photo and a brief description ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gone In 60 Seconds (1758 words)

Rating:

An interesting title especially as I have never seen that film but I thought it would be quite apt for this opinion. Truthfully it shouldn't be 60 seconds, more like 60 minutes, for that was exactly how long it took me to sell my Nissan Twin-Cab through the Auto Trader. More about that later, first the customary bit of the opinion/review telling you about the publication. • To Start With • Auto Trader is a fortnightly publication and normally varies in price between about GBP1.50 and GBP2.00 (Sorry I don't have the 'Pound' sign as I have a Greek keyboard). Auto Trader is a national publication but it is split into 13 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Autotrader: Best motor magazine for bargains (&bangers!) (173 words)
by - written on 06/12/00 (Very useful, 147 readings)
Rating:

I often buy Autotrader because I like to keep abreast of what is happening in the motor industry and I like to see annoyingly how much my recently purchased new van has dropped in price as soon as I paid top whack for it! The layout of the magazine is very straigtforward and makes sense. It is split up into several sections like cars, classic cars, vans, HGV's and so on. Each of these sections is split alphabetically and goes through each manufacturer that has one of their vehicles advertised. You can find almost anything in Autotrader. They have all sorts from the good old British motor days of Austin to a classic old Beetle. You should ...  Read the complete review
