Ah, before the internet the Autotrader magazine was the only way to buy and sell a second hand car privately. Thank goodness Autotrader moved with the times and opened a webpage showing the same (if not more) cars. The magazine is separated into sections so you can find the car you want to buy quickly. These sections are... sports, ... Read the complete review

At £2 a copy, Autotrader is the mag to have when it comes to buying a car. It's been around for a long long time, and has built up a reputation as being the one to get. I've never sold a car in it, so can't write about that, but I have used it as a customer. Most of the pages are newspaper style - cheap paper and messy print that makes ... Read the complete review

Auto trader is the easiest way to view thousands of cars in your area. It is a magazine which advertises new and used vehicles for sale. They advertise the sales of cars, bikes, vans, trucks, plant machinary, motor homes, caravans and boats, literaly selling everything with an engine so what ever you are loking for you are ... Autotrader are a group of magazines that advertise cars and other vehicles. That's all. No editorial, no articles, just pages and pages of cars. The magazines are divided into regions - eg Thames Valley or Southern, as the point is for locals to have a single place they can find a used car. If you have a car to sell, it's ... Autotrader is an icon of the eighties that has moved into the new century with grace and skill. This is not through active management but it has been driven by market forces and as such it has survived. Both a magazine and a website, it is dedicated to the sole aim of selling cars and car accessories to the Great British public and it does this ... Read the complete review

An interesting title especially as I have never seen that film but I thought it would be quite apt for this opinion. Truthfully it shouldn't be 60 seconds, more like 60 minutes, for that was exactly how long it took me to sell my Nissan Twin-Cab through the Auto Trader. More about that later, first the customary bit of the ... Read the complete review

If you are selling a car then I would recommend that you advertise in the Auto Trader. We have got a Sierra Cosworth for sale and after lots of problems we experienced with Exchange and Mart (see my opinion on this) we decided to give Auto Trader a go. It had to be better than the service we had recieved recently. I telephoned ... Read the complete review

I often buy Autotrader because I like to keep abreast of what is happening in the motor industry and I like to see annoyingly how much my recently purchased new van has dropped in price as soon as I paid top whack for it! The layout of the magazine is very straigtforward and makes sense. It is split up into several sections like cars, ... Read the complete review

I have always bought Auto trader as I like to think of myself as a keen car buff!! The good thing about Autotrader is that it is divided into regions so if you do see any bargains its not all that far to go and see them. The range is huge and some are supported with photographs, The price ranges are excellent too, you can find the same ... Read the complete review

I recently bought the Autotrader (East Anglia), something which I haven't done for a long time, it has improved so much. The way that all colour photo ads are in one A-Z section, means you save so much time finding the type of car you want. Usually when you go to buy a car you have a rough idea on what type you are looking for, ... Read the complete review

I have to say that having read various second hand car books and supplements, Autotrader still rules all. They have an unbeaten number of adverts in their publication and the magazine is in depth. It doesnt just include private ad's but also trade ad's and it even has a buyers guide in there as well. The magazine is well seperated into ... Read the complete review

The grandaddy of all second-hand car publications, this is still the biggest and best by far. The magazine is published in different editions according to location so you will not get excited by a car that is three hundred miles away. The sections are laid out logically so it is easy to find the type of vehicle you are after. ... Read the complete review
