Advantages: Varied Content, Good Fashion Pages

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit young for people in thier late 20's

I am one of those women who buy lots of magazines each month only to flick through the fashion pages and maybe occasionally read a few articles. I rarely buy the same magazine each month because I get bored with them easily. So, for a magazine to get me to subscribe to it has to either have a really good free gift for subscribers, or has to get me to read the whole thing! This magazine managed both!

The gift for subscribers is always something really good. They've just done one for a free phone with really cheap rental AND free subscription if you take out the contract. They also had an offer for free sunscreen worth around £25 if you subscribed. I took out my subscription when they had lots of Oil of Olay stuff free.

But whats the use in subscribing to a magazine you don't really like? There isn't, so I must like this magazine. The fashion pages don't include too much of that stuff that I can never afford. If I buy Vogue, which I like to at the pictures in (as if you can actually read it!!!) I am faced with clothes that I would have to sell all my worldly possessions to be able to afford a vest top! However B includes clothes from shops like H&M, Oasis, New Look, River Island etc.

I don't buy the magazines JUST for the fashion pages though. I think one of my favourite bits of this mag is the This Life column which is light hearted and somehow rings true to me in some ways. A good columnist should always be able to get the reader to identify with them and she manages it remarkably!

The articles are a mixture of light hearted banter, serious issues, personal stories and raunchy discussions - as well as diagrams!!!

I like the way all these things are in one magazine, rather than having to buy one magazine for film reviews, one for fashion advice, and another for personal stories.

I'd advise you all to go out and buy this magazine, even if some people don't agree!!!
