B appeals to mainly the 20-ish generation but those of us who are older can gain great advice from a younger view on life. B covers issues from drugs, to sex, to fashion and music. The advice on all of these is helpful to those with little or no knowledge on such issues. The advice is written as such that the reader is able to work things out for themselves. This magazine is fairly unique in the way it does not tell you what or how to think about issues, in the way that the newspapers do. The bare facts on issues are presented with views from all sides. Advice and articles on sex is incredibly useful to the younger reader, covering all points and answering any questions that may arise about the issues. Reviews on films and music are however a little short and don’t cover what the reader wants to know. For example n a film review the writer sometimes seems more interested in writing about the 'talent' than the actual story line. In this way it brings the magazine down. The readability of B though is good, very easy to pick up and put down many times and go over a read again.
