Disadvantages: I had to stop reading it

Back in the day the Beano was the number one comic for kids in my opinion. Now I am not that old (twenty six) but I remember how much enjoyment I used to get from it.I used to get the Dandy weekly and my sister used to get the Beano delivered. I always wanted to read the Beano first though which normally ending up in fights which she used to win I hasten to add.
Anyway, The characters in the Beano were just so entertaining, Dennis the Mennis, Minnie the Mix and my favourite The Bash Street Kids.
I also used to enjoy the Christmas Annual which came out which I used to ready time after time. You can tell that because of the state of them.
I know comics are not really cool anymore but back in the day they were and the number one was the Beano.
